We eat a lot of Starchy foods made from root vegetables and corn in West Afrika; but we ferment, dry and meal them into flours to make foofoo (dumplings), which we serve with leafy vegetable-rich soups, stews and gravies. Our Ancestors thrived on those fermented starches and we continue that same food culture with modern twists, by adding beetroot, carrot and other fresh vegetable-blends to our fermented root vegetable flours.
Yes yes yes, I'm in America and work with a lot of Africans and the food is the absolute best. When I'm sick I go right to them and it's always something for every pain I have. And the flavors are amazing.

I am not a keto person, however, they will tell you this is foolishness and bring out other studies to show that it does not work the way the doctor says it does. I believe what he says is accurate though.
@@notconfused1676 on the screen it says you will not lose resistant starch by reheating it. So as long as it's spent it's time in the fridge you can then go ahead and reheat
🎶🎶Oooooh {{{{💃🏻}}} 🎶 I’m doing my happy dance for this one! 😃👌🏼 I’ve put myself in a mindset that that “ I’m Happy No Matter What” and being silent, pretty much stopped talking unless it’s something important ( I’ve outgrown this living situation and I just want peace and quiet, it’s very nice) and I’ve lost 10 pounds! One pound sometimes less but no matter I’m losing the stress weight, every other day! ✨💃🏻🎶✨ Why? Because theres a mean, grumpy elderly person living in the house since lockdown and this person doesn’t like me or that 😂I’m a happy human! The verbal abuse stressed me and I blow up like a blow fish 🐠 until lately I’m standing in my happy heart no matter who doesn’t like it! 😮💨Pasta, breads and sweets Were my comfort go to foods, I’m vegan, so I’ve replaced the pasta with more veggie snacks, and started taking Calm which is a powder form of Magnesium and the sugar cravings have gone away, Especially the Chocolate 🍫🤪👌🏼 cravings! I haven’t had chocolate for a month ! 😍👍🏼Feeling good, looking better too! And not missing it the sweets! But I do miss the angel hair pasta because after I eat it my stomach blots 🫤, I’m not gluten sensitive. So I’m going to try this pasta overnight in the fridge before eating it! The best thing I've found for feeling good and losing weight is keto/carnivore, i couldn't believe how incredibly well it works. The best part is that I'm actually satiated.
Hi Atma. I had this same, sudden weight issue due to a mean abusive family member who was sick, angry and resentful at the world! I tried the supplement Ashwagandha for this type of strees (high cortisol), it worked incredibly well for me and fast!

I love my pasta and bread , and I buy expensive healthy bread on sale and freeze it and I love pasta and cook a bunch and eat it for a few days already. Yippee
This is something that I’ve done with bread and rice noodles and it’s truth! However, I’m going to eat my French Fries once per month because that’s feeding my soul! Thank you for this great info!!
Jodi Burnett Cut potatoes into fries. Soak in ice cold water overnight or at least 2 hours in water with ice cubes! Dry off and Fry. They will be crispier also. Enjoy 😉

He made a video about what to drink for inflammation. Since then I make each morning this drink, frozen fruit like mangos, blueberries, strawberries. Add in olive oil, apple cider vinegar. fresh garlic, turmeric, ginger. Zinc powder, milk thistle, pink salt, cayanne pepper, black pepper, spiriline powder, and honey bee pollen and 1/2 lemon juice. Sounds like a lot it only takes 8 minutes.
Wow!!!! Ingenious!!! I always knew that bread, rice, potatoes and pasta cause weight gain. However, I didn’t know FREEZING and REFRIGERATING changes the molecular structure thus enabling me to eat without weight gain!!! I’m gonna try that. Thanks doc!!!😘❤️❤️❤️

Decrease the calories. There must be a caloric deficiency to lose weight. Also , you could be a person who needs all 3 forms of food. Some people need fats, carbs and protein but still decrease the calories. If that’s an issue then proceed to intermittent fasting. 16/8 No food for 16 hours and food for 8 hours. Then you will see for sure a drop in weight and proceed to do 18 /6 eventually. I had similar issues and it worked.

Kathy A - My goodness. Well that will spice up my diet a bit. I do not eat wheat and very little rice but there is now a yellow pea pasta that is gluten free that tastes like and has the mouth feel of wheat pasta so I may try it. I make my bread from coconut flower that comes out tasting like corn bread. I also make a white bread from powdered egg whites and they sugar free/guilt free. I have never heard this before. Thank you!
yup! 👌 i cooked my rice with 3 tbsp of VCO and put it in the refrigerator for a day...and warm it back..eat with chicken curry... yummy!!! eat with out guilty 😁😁... resistance starch 👍
It's true I've eating just chicken and rice cooked straight after and mostly the next day's refrigerated rice and my tummy stays calm.i don't bloat as I normally do due to my IBS issues.so I'm gonna say it's words of wisdom.
@@BoobooSnafu yes bread and pasta makes me bloat due to the gluten in it. I'm sure that's the reason for the cause of your bloating as well. Rice has soluble fibre which can be absorbed and digested easily in the gut whereas wheat has insoluble fribres which doesn't break down and will be passed out as whole. So white rice and potatoes with no skin does well for me with any type of meats If you want to eat pasta try cooking it a day before and eat it the next day but when eating it have a little helping and try eating once a week not too often so you don't suffer it

@@BoobooSnafu you most welcome It seems you suffer just like I do...don't consume any type of sugar be it from a fruit,honey or even artificial sugars.stop all processed foods.yes pasta is processed but I still have now and then.no chips,sweets,sodas anything that's in a packet,can or bottle thats not food. Try just meats,potatoes,white refrigerated rice,little and see what other veg do for you.for me no veg is good at this point and I love veg. Cut out all dairy products have plant milk instead.when eating veggies remove the skin and cook the veg till soft. No sucrose,fructose,gluten and lactose. Also eat eggs it digests easily.i eat max 2 eggs if I go over I bloat like mad.so ya my IBS is that bad so I am very limited when it comes to foods but I have did all these above I have mentioned and it helped reduce my IBS a lot although I still suffer with it. Oh and drink cool or warm water instead hot and cold beverages. If you can afford to also get a probiotic trust me it helps wonders for me.i take a tablet form and buy what I can afford. All the best to you and hope you feel better soon it's a slow process but start somewhere and you will get better.

@@BonnieBlue2A Yes that's what I personally do. Way healthier and will save you some of the diseases a lot of people get down the road personally eliminating gluten from the diet helped me cognitively and fixed acne big time.

It takes a long time to cook.. and I'm too lazy to cook. We always have pasta, vegetable salad, fermented food, and breads. I didn't know that but, now I know... No wonder I'm still slim even though I eat a lot.
@@sederquest he is a real doctor in Miami Fl. I never went to him but one of his patient he had on was a customer of mine for many years, and it explain his physical disability.
Boy that goes against my keto diet but you know what even the keto diet people and the baby doctor tell you to feed your prebiotics and to eat something fermented everyday. So these grains are cooked and then left for a day they start to ferment. Kind of makes sense.
