Common Name: Canistel, Egg fruit, yellow zapote, yiessas, cupcake fruit, zapote amarillo, มอนไข่
The plants grow rapidly and begin to bear in 3 to 6 years. Grafting, patch budding and air-layering are possible. Cuttings take a long time to root.
They are self-fertile, with pollination by insects. Flowering is usually in summer, and the fruit harvested in winter.
