Red onions are absolutely wonderful, in cooking gourmet meals. A real simple one is using approximately half and half red onions sauteed with red potatoes in olive oil. If you add a medium to hot poblano pepper, you are talking about incredibly wonderful food, that is nutritious. If you love garlic like I do, that would be something else that would be good to add.

If you add raw red onions to your recipe, you’ll get the benefits from the raw onions. If you only use sautéd onions, you drastically reduce the health benefits… She stated so in the video. Heat is the enemy to nutrition.

I get that the red onions enhance flavors in meals but the doctor just said cooking them destroys a lot of their nutrients....so you should also find ways to eat them raw....on a funny note don't put them in a blender with your smoothie cause it is so strong you will gag as I did!
@Wilderness-Voice
@Wilderness-Voice 4 месяца назад
@@MrGarymola thank you for suggesting using them raw in recipes. I do enjoy them raw and even slightly cooked. I will have to try eating more of them raw. That is funny about you trying it in the blender. If you want to try something really, really yucky,,,, throw it in a juicer. I did that with yellow onions years ago, and could not believe how it really changed the flavor. Lol lol, lol

Mixing my vegetables in the Brazil nuts and almonds, food process add chia seeds and flax to raw milk and it's gorgeous, healthy cereal, and when the raw milk goes off I get free food😁🤣 Add chia and flax milled, to raw milk, then add a few whole raw moringa plants (buy from Indian grocery shops (occasionally only known to Indian grocers as drumstick)), this plant is the healthiest in the known world, and better chelator than the top two super food chelators you can think of combined together, best weight loss plant and aphrodisiac, just the ultimate. Moringa powder is more convenient for some, mix like fifty grams of moringa powder in a single big bowl, with raw milk, milled flax and chia, this way, you won't taste the moringa at all. Chase with some warm tea within an hour to help absorb the nutrients, like organic lemon dumped in glass kettle of distilled water, that way you never get lime scale, or drink hot water on its own, add zeolite maybe to buffer the water acidity, because warm water is a tad more acidic.

Interesting. I’ve been reading all of your comments. How are use red onion is not only in the base of most Indian cooking as I’m originally from India, but also cutting up red onions and keep them in white vinegar. I use them as a condiment in my meals. As much as this sounds amazing. Onions are known to be a superfood in general. However, the depletion of our soil makes the self content of mini vegetables much lower now than in the past. Also, make sure everyone follows a proper diet because if you’re eating all sorts of nonsense, you cannot expect the lovely red onion to undo all the negative eating , that means reduce your simple carbohydrate and ultra processed foods so that your pancreas doesn’t spew out all that insulin.

After three months of eating raw onions , I noticed I already had Body Odor. My friends also noticed this so I suddenly stopped eating raw onions in my daily diet.
