Really liked telling the whole story from your home to the launch. It really gives us a complete picture of what it's like for you. Totally different here in Northern California but you're welcome any time. You have a place to stay.
I like you showing the journey going to your destination. I miss that, like your older videos where you show yourself getting up and getting on the water early. Good vibe set, you know?
The things I would do to be able to try a fresh fish taco made by you. Everything you cook, looks better than 90% of the meals I've ever eaten. Great video!!
Rod your video's are so easy to watch multiple times. I always scroll through your list and re-watch videos from years ago. Love the content mate. New and old.
I'll say that I've watched every second of this video like all of your other videos Rok ! this is how you know the quality of your content !! best wishes
Spun out good old Cleveland Northern Stradbroke Ferries, Amity Point and Adder Rock. It's weird cos you were at Rose Bay Wharf in Sydney and now Cleveland and I grew up in both places lol. Brilliant vid mate, you brought back a lot of memories.
Yea, some beaches allow it, I live in the Outer Banks, NC. wear crocs for 6 months, barefoot the rest, there they allow you in most places. Just don't in a gas station bathroom.lol
youre really kind and cheerful in general, i wish i had friends like you so interested in camping and fishing to go out with and just experience the nature
what a wild day, those wraps look amazing! really love how you show the entire trip from prepping the truck to eating out on the beach, excited for part 2 already!
Casually just turns and goes "oh there's a bunch of parakeets" and casually turns back as though they were a bunch of chaffinches. Ant in the sopping wet UK.
Rod's channel is one of the most underated channels on youtube He definitely deserves more subs than he is right now I can't wait for the next video Cheers
Surprisingly enjoyable video. I didn't expect much, yet you delivered. It started with the mundane, the unknown, the grind and then the surf, the thrill and the reward at the end. That's how you tell a story! Especially in case you'll starve yourself again in some remote and risky location, please make sure to tell a similar story. Or any other. Because you are a storyteller. That's your line of work. It's not the fishing. The fishing is just bait.
Great Video with a lot of beautiful views! I love it! 😍 you are so awsome well organized, i think this is a must, to survive in any situations....💪👍 😁that triggerfish had a sharp bite!!🐟🦑🐡
Hey Rod; Got to have a set a balls to go over that breaker water. I love listening to these fish strip line from your reels. Very enjoyable vid, stay safe my friend
Hi from Japan. Thank you for your generosity in sharing all your videos with us. Love the islands the best! By the way, it would be great to see another family trip. Cheers!
I suddenly found this channel and binged most of the videos in a few days. I'm a software engineer but I've bought my first annual fishing license/permits and lightweight camping gear just this week. I'm so pumped to take a weekend out and try camping and fishing this summer.
I love this. Not many people can afford the crazy budget that so many "influencers" use. This is achievable for the common man and is so good to watch.
Loved the vid Rod! Cant wait for the next installment. I've done a lot of car camping and a few cheap easy things you could do are: -set up a tarp over rear door, a couple of poles, some ropes and a bit of ingenuity and you have an easy shelter. For slightly more coin one of those cheap kings awnings are worth their weight in gold. -rear door flyscreen, bunnings sells flyscreen, magnetic strips and glue. Pretty self explanatory, cut to shape and glue on magnets. Cheap easy and packs away to nothing. Also did I miss something? I never miss one of your vids but what happened to the kayak nose colour? Hasn't it always been orange?
Cheers mate, yep I’ll definitely be doing the awning and screen soon. Funny I’ve been looking at he awnings for like two years now and kept putting it off, no longer!😅 the orange colour on the kayak was painted on with PlastiDip to get that super fluro colour I just peeled it of a week or two ago for a change👍
not gonna lie your channel holds up a really awesome reputation for packing and all...other channels just have gear and expect us to know it all kinda really cool its your thing to do that packing bit really
This inspired me to crack open my tackle box for the first time this year...found my lost house key attached to my favourite pen knife inside, lol. Driving me crazy all year! Thanks for another great upload, Cheers.
Love all your vids but this one hit different! Really enjoyed the longer more in depth style of this and the truck camping thing was a nice change up from the usual survival styled missions. Way more relatable. Cracker fish too!
Anyone can load up a kayak and head to straddie with their Misso’s 4by, but catching some quality fish like that is an art mate. Well done good on you brother. keep up the good content. Billy
