Does the all beef sausage comes with beef casing?

Oh. Good point. No, it’s in hog casing. But the side dish I believe is made separately, but I would double check when you order. Thank you.

At my last 5 day trip to Texas I tried literally two new places a day. Franklins was cool cause the line and friends made during the notorious wait. L&L was absolutely my favorite on the platter side, incredibly unique. Terry Blacks was the best service and overall my favorite standard tray with a shoutout to Truth for their boudin sausage. Texas is just undefeated. Can’t wait to try this place later in 2024!

In a region where you pretty much feel compelled to try the same 3 proteins everywhere, it’s kind of liberating for them not to have two of them every day. So many times I’ve been to a place and there’s a cool item I know I won’t get to try because I feel like I need to try the trinity first at every place. And it all winds up being very similar.

Trip to texas was fantastic, Ended up eating at L&L 3 days in a row. the only thing we had on repeat was the chips. I would love to see a video on how you all trimmed out the clod to get the flat irons and the chuck steaks, etc. Also those chuck steaks were a sleeper! Did not expect them to be that fantastic! would love to see a video on cooking those as well.

I was there this last Saturday around 4pmish. I had the flat iron, grain-bow salad and the chips. I was impressed. I rarely go to BBQ places because I do a pretty good job of producing it myself (after watching a lot of chuds, mad scientist and others). So I have pretty high standards. I was not that hungry but I loved the flat iron (my initial bite made me want more). I also loved the grainbow salad. My compliments to everyone. I don't live in Austin but I will be back.

I really feel those people about food trucks. I really don't like standing in long lines, especially out in the heat. I never went to a single food truck until this year when my city opened a little depot. I still won't go if the parking looks like a nightmare but I'm going almost every week now. I would still vastly prefer if they were brick and mortar but I get it and I've had some of the best food I've had in years because of them.

I'm a huge bbq need. I was about L&L the truck or the restaurant? I'm trying to do Texas bbq in Hawaii without even trying the real thing. I'm born and raised here so I think I have a good palet for food flavors. But I want to try the best. If I only have one chance. 🤙
