Hi Edwin and Hi Chef Jasparito ........... next time when you cook baby octopus .......... chop them into small pieces and marinate them with seasoning , lemon juice and salt - pepper for 1 hr before cooking ...... then after 1 hr cook them on the cast iron skillet with olive oil until golden brown . While assembling the burger put some hot sauce over the octopus and then the condiments of your choice.......... Then Moment of the Truth .
It’s actually not bad, if it’s cooked badly it’ll either be chewy, or it’ll feel rubbery, but if it’s cooked right it tastes pretty good. One time I had octopus and it was tough to bite into and I kinda like felt it snap a little, wasn’t very pleasant.
Shud have marinated those octopi in the Lemonade with olive oil for 10 minutes. Only takes 2 minutes to grill those bad boys. Flash grill. Cheese? Cheese on seafood?? Dios Mio. Oh well, at least you guys enjoy these little outings. Next time, Seviche with grilled fish and veggies.
Just starting the video but the copper chef knives are awesome. 18 years in the food industry and I have seen the cheapest and very pricey. My grandma got me a set for chirstmas. Love these videos
For this reason, the grilled octopus should be served with a mixture of garlic and parsley with olive oil, not too much it covers the taste of the octopus. Here in Venice we eat small cuttlefish, cleaned and floured, and fried in boiling oil, served with salt and lemon, and eat with fried vegetables or green salad. Better to drink white Californian wine, preferably fresh, here in Venice we prefer very cold prosecco, I know that after finishing the video you have to work, but it goes better with fish. Ciao from Venezia.🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙😉😉
I saw this during Beijing Olympics as street food... bbq octopus and bbq scorpion on a stick. They bbq everything on a stick apparently. Can’t say it’s appealing. But I enjoy watching your foodie adventures 🐙😉
Cheese, buns and overcooked... Do a do-over: marinade in lemon, olive oil, salt/pepper overnight (or at least a few hours in a fridge), only grill them for about 5-6 min total, and then chop up and put in tacos with some more lemon and some pico.
Lolz those octopus were killed so many times on that barbeq. Usually Those size octopus on grill doesn’t work these are good for salads. For grill there are other octopus 🐙 a little big one. These will get dry and chewy if put on grill for this long time
Cook this is a Pot iron with some Olive Oil, Garlic and Butter, dont over cook than you would have something Tasty. Hard to Grill and not come out chewy. Love you Guys, make my day.
No buns or cheese. You needed lemon squeezed over it while cooking half that time. A RU-vid cooking class first! 😁 Other than that, awesome moment of the truth. 👍👊✌️
Cool vids. I always watch as many as i can. But did u guys wash hands before eating the cheese or before handling the salt and pepper bottles? Bec u did touch raw uncooked seafood. Cross contamination and food poisoning. Not good to have. Haha But engaging vids 👍
A shot of vodka would have set that simply lemonade off right the blueberry and raspberry lemonade is also good simply makes good products thank you guys for sharing
Lol they got me googling the holes in the knife and he was right 😂😂 I love them so much. They have to be very entertaining to me if they got me leaving the vid googling stuff lmsoooo
Dang, i love octopus but u have to cook it fast like scallops or they will end up like a rubberband. I would have given it some acidity like lemon juice and/or extra virgin olive oil.
You just have to know how to prepare it right and these guys dont know. Season it well or dip it in sauce but you just barely cook it or it is like chewing on rubber.
Well every video you both make it's just relax and have a laugh like listening to the nature and chicken coking feel like my village in malaysia, Chill video bro
Try boiling it in water then cutting it 1/2" pieces add olive oil, vinegar, onion, peppers, olives, little bit of basil or cilantro. Serve on top of smashed green plantains, white rice or lettuce. No salt and pepper on this one.
