Eating, Drinking Alone in JEJU 🏝| Ocean View Hotel 

When I travel, I’m alone. If I waited until I wasn’t alone, I’d never go anywhere! Plus, I love staying in nice hotels. I recently wondered about going to Jeju alone during my possible future Korea visit, so thank you for the vlog. By the way, people might stare because you look good or look familiar.

Always wanted to visit Jeju Island. Will definitely go there when I finally go to Korea. Thanks for showing us around.

Before seeing this, I hadn't even considered Jeju. It just seemed too far away from *everything.* I even know of folks who have lived there. Still...no go. Nobody ever told me or showed me that it was a pretty and quaint place, with its own charm. So I thank you, Dan. #aRMyLOVE💙

I love the ocean. I am only 15 min. from the Gulf of Mexico. Some of the most beautiful white beaches. Jeju looks so beautiful! Thanks for the RU-vid Dan!! Always enjoy your videos.

Jeju looks really pretty and interesting. I love the views. So glad to watch this as I did not know how beautiful South Korea was until I stumbled upon BTS, then Hwarang, then Korean TV dramas and now you, Thiz is Dan. They do not show much or any of South Korea here in the states and that makes me sad. You are so brave to go alone, but I think with someone with you would be great.

Beautiful! I agree about the lighting....the older you get as well, you want the lighting to be softer! TRUTH! I definitely approve of travelling alone. You learn so much about yourself, how to meet people more easily, and gain much confidence. I have travelled throughout the world, most if it alone. I applaud you for "going it alone"! Great job vlogging and taking pictures on your own, can be tricky but think you did great! Also that shrimp looked super fresh and quite a bargain I would say. Sad about your foot and the room situation, but hope you at least found your solo mini vacation somewhat relaxing. Travelling alone does make you feel lonely but it also gives you a sense of adventure in discovering new places yourself that you normally wouldn't go to with groups of people around you. Everyone has different expectations though and while some might like to travel to touristy places alone, others would like to go to the countryside, go hiking, or go to more nature oriented places. Anyways, keep up the good work!

Great vlog! Jeju looks really pretty and seems like a laid back place. I honestly get anxiety about traveling alone, I am always afraid I will be too bored or lonely or something bad will happen and I will have no one to help. It seems like taking trips alone though is probably a good way to relax and reset, so maybe that will me a goal of mine this year. Thanks for sharing your trip! :)

I stayed in seogwipo when I traveled solo to Jeju too. But i booked airbnb, ..... if u stayed in Seogwipo, there is a cafe/bar by the cliff there..... should try n visit. Now i miss Jeju again.

This is a really helpful video as I am planning a trip to New Zealand and then Korea on the way home to London as soon as travel opens up and its likely I will be travelling solo. Sorry you felt lonely in the pool, having that kind of pool to myself is my idea of heaven, navigating transport would be my biggest worry on my own

Hi Dan :) if you have an iPhone + Apple Watch + tripod you can actually do full photoshoots by yourself. Solo traveller here as well, very thankful for the camera app on the Apple Watch. Jeju is so beautiful, I hope one day I can visit as well. Thank you for the references!

Hi PoohBear, JeJu is beautiful. The food looked delicious. The view was a bit disappointing but I like night lights from buildings and store fronts (city lights at night) & stuff so it was ok. I was happy to see the nail in the chair did not hurt you to badly. The swimming pool was nice with that view made it stunning. Thanks for sharing. Take care 🤗😊

Some of my best visits have been while I was by myself. That way there's no drama, I can go/do what I want, and use the alone time to reflect without the otherwise added distraction of having people around me.

dude I hope you complain to the hotel management because that was appalling service!! thank you for sharing. I think every person should take a break on their own once a year. to reconnect with themself, reflect, and think on things that are important in their life. I can go anywhere on my own and be happy. My bestie on the other hand cant..lol.. she needs some one. she is not comfortable with her own company!!! I have no siblings or family in the uk... I cam since I was 7 yrs old in the early 60's and one trauma after the other plagued me! only after 2 failed marriages with 5 kids in tow (all grown and living their life) did I start to reflect on myself and why I was the way I was. like why I needed peoples approval so much etc.. I have evolved and continue to do each day. I am comfortable with who I am now. I weeded out all the people who were negative in my life and started to do things for myself... with positive thoughts to bring positive energy to my life. Believe me there is nothing like spending time on your own to breath and reflect, look at the world around you from a diffrent angle.. enough from me... sorry I cant comment on your food as im a vegan (all those animals on a plate 🤢 sorry!!) and animal rights supporter as well as an environmentalist .. lol man sorry!!!!😊💐 stay blessed👍🏼

i could see the mountain ...kind of...there was fog. but on a clear day there must be a mountain view. at least you don't have to hear airplanes flying over head every 10 minutes. we were at a hotel not for from an airport, that was years ago. the hotel was very nice. but hearing an airplane passing overhead every 10 minutes all day for a week was torture. and we could see the planes out the window. they were sooooo HUGE! to this day i still have dreams about those huge airplanes flying over head. ZOOOOOM. torture. simply torture.

Dirty carpet?!! That would tell me that the maids did not finish their job. I would have asked for house keeping to come and clean all over again...also I would have asked for clean bedding, including the comforter. That's just me.. I liked your first hotel more. :) Val fm USA

If you are not satisfied with your hotel room, or it doesn't meet your requirements ( let's say booking a room with mountain view) you have rights to upgrade (change room without additional payment) or ask for refund. Btw, the black volcanic rocks reminded me of Hawaii!
