my favorite sandwhich is called Danforth from Salumeria Ercolano and it has Chicken Cutlet, Light Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella, Basil & Sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese

Chicago has so many great sandwiches it makes this one a tough one but I think my favorite right now has to be the Buffalo Chicken sandwich at Fat Shallot! That thing smacks me with flavor every time I have it!

My favorite sandwich in Grand Rapids Michigan is the Michigan Turkey sandwich at The Green Well: turkey breast, sweet potatoes, coleslaw, bacon, white cheddar, tomato vinaigrette on grilled sourdough. the sweet potato slices are so creamy and nutty and sweet, it's amazing.

Looked great, glad you boys enjoyed it. I’m a Keto lady, so I try to get places to put in a lettuce or egg, or cheese, or cabbage wrap. With melted cheese on the outside. I like a local spot that has smoked cow tongue or heart with cheese, peppers, onions, and hot sauce. But I miss bread a lot.

I'm an Aussie. The only thing that comes close is the burger with "The Lot". It changes per region, but essentially it's toasted buns, beef patty, simple cheap cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, bacon, grilled onions, fried egg, pickled beetroot slices, and /or grilled pineapple slice. Ketchup (tomato sauce) or bbq sauce. It seems like a lot. But they compliment each other more than it seems. Personally I would do beets over pineapple. 100,% always egg

I have seen a few reviews from you guys from Ricobene's. If either of you gave it a thumbs down, I would know that you were lying. You both have put in your top 5 sandwiches In Chicago.

Memphis has a few monumental sandwich spots with a decent number of greats. But Garibaldi’s meatball sub is one I would put up against any other meatball sub anywhere. Truly one of a kind.

I am not a meatball sandwich guy. The Meatball Sandwich from Hey Pizza! Pizza House (house converted to Neapolitan Pizza Style joint) is a winner. Plus, a Corgi is part of the signage. Eugene, Oregon.

In Boston, I feel like the two go-tos for a Mortal Kombat are either the lobster roll or a Day-After-Thanksgiving/Mayflower/Pilgrim/Whatever-We're-Calling-It-Today sandwich with a gallon of hot gravy for dunking purposes. That said, I'm a Midwest transplant, so any native-Bostonians in the comments can feel free to correct me and/or hit me with their car (note: they'll probably do the latter even if I'm right).

Said it before and I’ll say it again. The B. Franklin from Tempesta is the best sandwich in Chicago. The meatball slaps but nothing like the B. Franklin with bacon bay beeeeee!

Been eating those two world class sandwiches at Ricobenes since I discovered them in 1997. Last week I got the King size sloppy joe from there and was not disappointed.

My city per say doesn't have a sandwich that represents, but I live an hour North of San Francisco and I'll say the Dungeness Crab Sando would be the King-O'-Sandwiches in these parts.

Both those sandwiches look good, but I don't understand why it's called Chicken Vesuvio sandwich… Where are the potato wedges and the peas? I won't even mention the bone in chicken with crispy skin You guys should definitely check out Al & Joe's Deli 10348 Addison Ave, Franklin Park, IL

We have the Hot Dago sandwich. This sandwich has caused controversy in the media between a city human rights department and well the media. IOW, no public uprising of the possible derogatory name of this sandwich. Just a Human Rights Department Director trying to stir up trouble to keep his/her job. It is a spicy sausage patty served open faced with a spicy marinara sauce on garlic toast and lots of mozzarella. Mushrooms and peppers recommended but are extras. You probably have something similar in Chicago but a different name.

Looks amazing as usually boyzz..from Dtw..well outskirts were not the best educated lol.. or know how to type even.. 🤔 😂😊

BTW, in my opinion, the Maxwell Street pork chop is the best sandwich in Chicago.

DUDES!!!! Both of those sammies look EPIC! Man, I am super bummed because I had planned to be back in Chicago this weekend but had to bail out 😪😪😪. I had plans to go to both the Cubs and Sox for games and was going to hit up Ricobene's when on the Southside. I want both of those beasties, but would jump on the breaded steak first (before game) then swing back after for the Vesuvio and tag team those babies.

Awesome vid! Being from the Central Valley in California, I would have to say the best sandwiches here are probably Tortas. I would put our Mexican food up against any other place in the country, besides LA! Salud

Damn, I'd like to drown myself in that steak sammie. The overabundance of sauce and cheese makes my pockets tight. My favorite sandwich shop is no longer with us, a victim of rising property taxes. Belly Buster's RIP. I guess my go to's now are Claro's Deli for Italian Subs and Cole's for French Dips.
