Looooove eating Jimmy's. What a banger. The wildest pizza I've ever eaten? A full pickle pizza from Bob's Pizza in Chicago. White cream sauce, tons of pickles. Sounds absolutely preposterous yet somehow works so well. It's their staple. I love it.

I just had an Elotes Pizza last week that was Unique, delicious, and I can't wait to head back for more!!!! (RUNNER-UP - The same pizza joint serves a Chicken and Waffle pizza with real chunks of waffle on it and it's fantastic!)

At this place called Myke's Pizza in Downtown Mesa AZ they do a seasonal peach pizza every August/September that is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. Peaches, Pistachio, Gouda, Mozzarella, and Sage. Unreal. Jimmy's was my neighborhood spot in Chi from the time it opened all the way up until I moved away in 2020 and I miss it endlessly. Never got to have Zaza's unfortunately, but it looks fantastic. Dimo's and Dante's are bad and should never even be mentioned in the same breath as Jimmy's lol. Also...diff style but Fat Chris's severely severely underrated & under discussed! Had to say that. Incredible Detroit-style in Chicago.

Passed this spot so many times without a second thought. I respect having to reset to get the pizza in the pic. Love that behind the scenes. I get that quality pizza isn't cheap, but $40... It looks so good, though.

In the summer of '83, a couple of friends and I went to the Improv in Hollywood to see Larry "Bud" Melman. We had dinner there before the show and I ate a pepperoni and cashew pizza. It was delicious. Other than that, I'm not too experimental when it comes to pizza.

@CoreyWagnerChicago that's too tough. So much bias and personal preferences. I grew up on the OG Lincolnwood location Lou Malnati's hence the bias. For thin? I always liked the OG Homewood location of Aurelio's. All depends on toppings too I suppose. Dino's on Higgins for thin. Newer place - Pizzaboy on Northwest Hwy?
