Hi! So the last scary story time was flagged by RU-vid mods, so i had to take it down. From now on all story time videos will be on ru-vid.com I'll also be talking true crimes, amazing stories...etc.
AH! That’s me in the black hoodie at 7:18!! It was nice meeting you Mike! I’m glad you like the durian cream puff!! I feel like my palette has been validated 😭😭😭
i had the pleasure of meeting Mikey back in NY, when he was still on Off the Great Wall. He is not very tall, about 5`6, also because Mikey is very built, which makes him appear shorter.
I love how Mikey always say "WE already arrived and WE should go again next time." It's like we are eating and exploring restaurants with him. It makes my heart melt. Love you Mikey! ❤️🇵🇭
This is one of the many reasons why I like his channel. Its bcs he doesnt just DO mukbangs, he also shows us where he is, cuz i feel like hes kinda giving the restaurant some credit for the incredible food hes eating. Andddd, he expresses how awesome the food is. And that's great about his channel.
How does Miley Chen not carry a pair of chopsticks in his car?! I can’t even imagine not having an iced coffee backup straw Incase I drop it down the side of the my seat!
Maurice W Some women have their bag full of make up, I have a pair of foldable Japanese chopsticks (no problem going through security in museums, etc.) and a small wooden spoon...
The ID is my fav neighborhood in Seattle. I've dragged friends and loved ones there and try to take them to all the good eats! Also, shout out to Szechuan Noodle Bowl for making, what I think, to be the best dumplings and Yummy Bakery House for making the best strawberry cake!
You're making me homesick! I miss all the amazing food in Seattle - particularly all the small places in the International District and Rainier Valley/Beacon Hill.
You are kind to care about small business owners. I thought I had it bad 10 years ago when the economy tanked and I had my restaurant, but I can not imagine how many business owners are suffering right now. Thank you for a little hope and inspiration.
whenever i eat bad instant ramen or junk food i watch one of your videos and imagine im there with you, trying new foods and traveling. you really help me dream
I was wondering what kind of car he drove and then finally found out when panned down as the food fell..go figure a Beemer..lol Drives a great car, owns a beautiful house (I think at leas 2!), is seen with beautiful women in a ton of his videos, and most importantly eats incredible food and travel's around the world for a living! The man seriously has it made. What else could you want in life? Maybe a family or a wife...but hey, that stuff will come later and seeing how he has everything else in order, I don't think he'll ever have a problem getting those.
You’re hitting all my faves and some new ones that I’ve never been. Seattle is the best! I’ve never seen it that deserted!!! Mon Hei bakery was my fave, but I don’t think it’s in business anymore. They had the best cocktail bun (Gai Mei Bao).
Really making me miss when I visited Seattle last year. Had so much amazing food, and still a lot more to try. Last time I was there, I stayed in an AirBnB in Capitol Hill. Really loved the drinks from Atulea and also loved the food from U:Don.
Thanks for this video, Mike! I moved from Seattle to the East Coast just a week ago, and seeing all the familiar places I used to go to really warms my heart and makes me a little less homesick. ❤️
When you're back in Chinatown, you gotta hit up Jade Garden for dim sum. It's practically a Chinatown institution, and they'll need all the help they can get with COVID-19, damage from looters, and online racist attacks!
Not only dim sum but all of their Chinese food is excellent. Order the honey walnut prawn, or the squid calamari, or for the best greens ask for pea white!! Don’t order the fried rice though it’s not very seasoned, unless you ask for the stinky fried rice.
I am sorry Stephen this is not the platform but China is the main reason for all the sufferings whole world is facing and in my personal opinion it's not accidental but intentional and it's very bad and sad
Mike, I lived in Japan for three years and enjoyed wagyu almost every week and I can share with you that Zabuton is my favorite cut. It is a more expensive cut and very rare when they butcher the meat so you should definitely try it next time.
Thanks for featuring the local businesses Mikey! So far, we've made it our weekends to venture to the places you visited here in Seattle! Been a fan for years! We love you!
Thank you Mike for bringing attention to Chinatown and our small businesses in Seattle. It has been really sad seeing so many of them disappear first to COVID, then to looters. I love seeing your videos, but love them even more since you’ve been showing more of the local, small restaurants.
Mike, I used to date a girl who carried around her own set of chop sticks and pulled it out every place we went. It didn't mater what type of restaurant it was, and she used her own set of chop sticks instead of the restaurant utensils. It was one of the Japanese lacquered one and carried in a nice silk pocket. I suggest you get one of those and Korean silver spoon and carry it around instead of using cheap wooden chopsticks.
@@celecha Hey Cheng, I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not but since Mike has been doing mukbang on the hood of his car, he has numerous times has either dropped the chopstick on the ground or the food establishment forgot to put in the bag. So the point of my comment is Mike should carry around extra utensils and it has nothing to do with utilizing restaurant's utensils or not.
I used to live in Seattle for 4 years & I've always missed the Chinatown and the food there so much. Seeing this video makes me incredibly nostalgic, but also happy because I got to be there again (although virtually, through Mike's camera lens). Thank you for featuring these small businesses, Mike! I would also like to recommend Hue Ky Mi Gia (they have great noodles!) and HardWok Cafe (great honey toast!) And they're located in the same strip mall!
I’ve become a huge fan Mike and I just love seeing you feature small businesses in the surrounding towns and city’s where I live! Every video has sparked inspiration and I just appreciate it so much.
I think it every video but today especially. Where does he put all that food? His stomach does not bloat he is not uncomfortable. He just keeps going. Much respect
I had no idea you’re living in Seattle right now!!! It’s so crazy seeing one of your favorite youtubers walking around and being where you grew up 😭 I’m so glad you enjoy the Seattle area so much
I had to pause this video to go heat up some Trader Joe's dumplings. Your videos ALWAYS make me hungry. Also, I love how you said durian maybe once, but pronounced it dorian like 5 times 😂😂
Love the international district!! Next time you go, try the tea at the Panama Hotel Tea House! Great tea and a lot of important history. It stores belongings from people that were taken to Japanese camps during WWII.
Thank you for supporting small businesses. We are a family of small business including the in-law side, my brothers, cousins, etc... thank you thank you!
I am so glad to see you go to Kau Kau, I love that place, I kept wanting to suggest you going there, I haven't been in a while I need to go again soon.
Finally I'm early for your upload because I always see the notification hours later 😅 More power to your channel. Love & support all the way from the Philippines ❤️
I loved watching this one. I used to live in Chinatown. It has changed a lot in the past 12 years. I loved trying different foods in the area. I can't wait till the shops can all open again.
It's not even that funny. Most asian households that I know have these as their primary eating spoons. I didn't even used a table spoon (let alone a teaspoon) until I went to college. I thought they were just fancy spoons used by snobby rich British folks for mixing sugar in their tea. LOL
I want to try the burger 🍔 and all the dumplings 🥟 I love dumplings 🥟 I want to try the pork and chicken 🍗 everything look so delicious 🤤 I got so hungry seeing you
Yesssss finally!!! My childhood Chinatown! I'm so happy you're back again! If only Mike's noodles was open. And hopefully someday Phnom Penh will open again for you to try some Cambodian food. I hope we bump into you someday! Next up is The great wall mall in Kent for some great szechuan food and dumplings.
This video is the reason I chose to go to the international district for my birthday last year. For the food and to support all the local and family owned small businesses. ❤❤ everything we had was divine.
