jonathan is always trying new parts on his 1995 acura integra, this topmount turbo manifold is a cool way to save some $$ and still have a cool top mount turbo kit.
From what I remember when we re did that gsr turbo setup back at the old shop just before moving to Texas we used that same manifold and just a ebay t3/t4 50trim that car made great power on a low 8psi of boost I recall it being 350hp around 4-5k rpm.
Wow 350hp on 8psi. Hope this doesn’t come across as rude or ignorant but DETAILS please. E85? How much torque? what was the ambient temps that day? And we talking corrected or un corrected HP?
@@Pawell294 oh no you're all good man, everything I can remember since this was like 4 or 5 years ago at Element Racing in Utah on customer's car but it was this manifold on a bone stock gsr integra, ebay 38mm tial style wastegate, bar and plate ebay intercooler, ebay t3/t4 50trim, walbro 255 fuel pump, bosch 1000cc injectors on pump 91oct. On the dyno, it's a land and sea dyno I do believe it was corrected hp. Ambient temps around 80F at 4300ft altitude. The power was somewhere around 350hp and about 300tq. Like I said before this is from memory I don't have the graph to check facts but this setup definitely was pretty sweet for the cost and the gains. And obviously Jarom's(GearHeads Autofab) master tuning ability killing it everytime🤘

Mine was eBay. $149 on Jan. 19, 2017! 🤦♂️ I was after this manifold since 2015 (they were still $250ish). I had imperfections like yours ran into clearance issues and just set it aside... 😐 but about 2 weeks ago decided to go at it again. I ground my “flange” down instead of longer studs/bolts. I’ll probably make a short vid lol. Your video motivated me and made me feel like I’m not the only one! Thanks 🙏
Pawell294 ya I had installed these type of manifolds for customers with single cAm civics in 2011-12 but I always hoped they would make a b series and that it could be cheaper lol. I would much rather my customers be able to make more power for less $$ 👌😁
reading the comments, I had the same issuses with this manifold, that being said it seems that I made the most hp so far with this manifold, my setup, built b18b, ported head, brian crower cams, springs, retainers, cam gears, skunk2 intake manifold, bosch 1000cc injectors, hondata s300, e85 tune, Nippon racing pistons, eagle rods, king rod and main bearings, hondata 4bar map, and the best street turbo GT35R 76-82ar 70mm. my 2000 Acura Integra made 403hp and 359tq at 14psi of boost. So what I am sayin is that this cast iron manifold has it's small problems, once those are fixed the manifold flows very well. Enough to make 400+hp with the right build and turbo set up. I hope you can make even more hp on your future set ups..... OH PS you never have to worry about crack waste tubes on this manifold
So true, and we did this manifold on another car recently and made about 350 easily stock motor 15psi on a 100$ eBay turbo. Way better then buying ones that crack.

I Turbo everything 😎. But it honestly depends on what your using it for. If you only need low end torque and not a lot of high end hp like for road racing then a v6 might be better. But if you just want to be fast in general turbo it.
Gearheads Autofab hey well I might need a new engine soon do you think it’s worth putting a 1mzfe or the 3sgte. I know a guy that sells me the whole kit for 1k but all I need is the wiring harness do you think it’s worth the v6 and maybe later on turbo the v6 or I should put a 3sgte
Well, maybe , but with a half radiator and maybe have to take off the hood latch piece to fit it ......Crx are the coolest cars ever made 😎🤘 mine made 1200hp and was almost the fastest in the world. Miss it so much !
