Hiya Guys,
As always we hope you are doing okay 😊
Join us is this video as we leave behind the super cool town of Namche Bazaar and head further up the route to Dingboche. Before we reach Dingboche we spend a night at a little place called Tengboche.
We booked this expedition with ‪@gadventures‬ and we highly recommend you booking with them yourselves if you are undecided on which travel company to book with 💜

Why did you go up through Tengboche when there is the original old trail on the opposite side of the valley offering vastly more impressive views? The Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche High Scenic Trail gives awesome views high across the valley, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers. Tengboche can be visited on the way down.

Another wonderful video guys, really enjoying the series. How did you two find the altitude as you climbed? And I have to confess, I wanted to bring a Yak home. I thought they were so full of character.

Awww, thanks so so much Tony 😁 Really glad you are enjoying the series so far 😊 ... The altitude as we go further up we found it turned our brains to mush and we were taking very deep breaths and also the littlest things felt like a struggle. How did the altitude affect you when you when did your trip? How cool would that be to bring a yak home though 🥰 Hope you're having a fab Bank Holiday weekend 😊

@@NathandHannah Hi guys, I went in 2008, with a small group of friends. I did get the banging headache for a couple of days just as we got to dingboche ( not sure if I’ve spelt that right 😆) as for shortness of breath yes absolutely. Think I told you one of our group got altitude sickness and was taken back to Kathmandu where he paid a fortune to get an earlier flight home.

So glad that you can watch our videos and relate to them and hope it brings it all back to you 😁 Yep, Dingboche is around 4,000m so we can really relate to that. Yeah, it's such a shame that your friend had to go down. Unfortunately, throughout the trek two of our group members had to be helicoptered back to Kathmandu too. Altitude sicknes is really not a joke.
