The 1500w hub motor overheated on E-bikekid's 1500w ebike so we had this bafang I believe G60 hub motor in the shead so we put it on. the ebike and the results is impressive
Boi , your son koy and his lil friend ebike baby loc out there haveing their time of their life . Parents take notice this is what helps kids with depression anxiety being social getting fresh air some vitamin D I mean, you name it yeah it’s OK to have there little electronics every once in a while but this is what the kids need nowadays I mean, just saying but great video and to e-bike guy keep doing your thing ✌🏽
100% man, I'm 51 now (old fart 🤣) but as a kid I was AlWaYs out and about on my BMX just riding about and learning new tricks... Kids nowadays just all sit around playing video games & eating crap.. it's just not good at all for them, make no wonder we got so many mental health issues in society! It's sooo refreshing to see e-bikeguy & his kids out having fun on their e-build's!! I'd have loved to have had an E-bike as a youngster, building my own E-bike a year or so back was the best damn thing I've done in years - I get soooo much satisfaction from it's 52v20ah & 1500w shunt modded performance - damn thing rips!!! The few people I've let ride it have all been beaming 😁 after they've had a go!!! I'd recommend building an E-bike to anyone over buying a factory one - they are just sooo much fun👍
@@MickyBee73 see but that’s the thing cause at any age like 51 , when you about riding getting some fresh air and sun ☀️ with some adrenaline boi I’m telling you ,make you feel a lil younger you feel me . For real no joke 🚴🏽♂️
@@bullxt4614 Oh 1,000,000% mate, I'm back to being a teenager every time I get on my e-build, I can't help myself 'cos it's so much fun for a 1500w build 😅👍 I hear you Brother!
I have a 1000w Bafang G063 clone from Shenghai Hybrid Motors and I’m gonna be pushing 1700w through it with a 52v/30ah battery right now I’m at 48v/15ah setup which gives me nice torque but not hitting 36mph like I want to
@@E-bikeguy That's great mate, It's good to see that after everything you've (all) been through over the last year or so that it's starting to go really well for you - you deserve it buddy, you really do!! And, there's no one else on RU-vid building super fun e-build's like you do, yeah there's some fast / great ones, but yours are a cut above 👍 Man, you inspired / helped me with my build and it's been going strong for over a year now, it's just fully charging up and I'm gunna go out for a good 30 or so miles ride, I can't get enough of it, I love it! 👍
Love to see you messing with the geared hubs...they are a lot of fun, hills, sand, etc...he'd love a dual geared hub on that bike with those nice controllers and 60V....it'll be amazing. GTR of ebikes.
@E-bikeguy oh damn, can't wait to see it! I have been looking for the largest geared hubs and that sounds like the biggest. I bet it absolutely rips hooked up to one of your batteries and the high amp controllers you use.
@E-bikeguy did you order it off Ali? And did you have to contact the seller to make sure the listing is correct? I found one that is listed as geared, 60/72V. 65kph...but it doesnt mention in the specs what gear ratio so I am doubtful. It is a large motor...the assembled wheel is listed as 15kg.
2000 -3000 watt Sabaton sinewave controller 72 volt battery will do it that is sick I love it I wandered what would happen if a geared Bafang motor had that type of amps pushed thru it
I see you got the torque bracket there now Dude, good job 👍 he's gotta be a happy Ebike kid. Also you know you can drill the motor hubs to let air in and help cooling, but not where it's sandy it'll get in
These ebike rim sizes be confusing AF. I bought a 16" rim and it was a 14" I guess ebike and motorcycle rims have different standards for some reason. Starting them young on the bikes is always good. Nice vid
mtb tires are overall tire diameter, so 26" wheel is 26" tire diameter...motorcycle tires a 16" tire is 16" inside diameter of the tire or rim bead diameter. Confusing, indeed.
Sweet,,seems like the controller will make any motor do good. How do you think the bafang can gold up to having such a powerful controller? Does it get hot?
Please. E-bikeguy make sure. E-bikekid wears a helmet for his safety I wouldn’t want to see him get hurt. And that bike go helafast you do some good work.
@@E-bikeguy I love your channel & what you're doing for the e-bike community. But can I just say as a 47yr old life long biker of all kinds from BMX - MX - Enduro - Downhill - 1000cc+ Superbikes. It doesn't matter if you ride at 10mph or flat out. Always wear protective gear. The sunshine doesn't make the floor any softer. Dress for the Slide & not for the Ride. You & yours stay safe out there my brother. #UKBikelife
I'm having a hell of a time locating a replacement freehub body for the g062. As long as it can fit a 9-speed cassette. I can't even find one on AliExpress. I'm grasping at straws so I'm asking ,You got a source?
Damn ts fast asl 😂, my parents parents get all scared when i show them my bikes and tell me to be a law obedient citizen 😒 ofc i tell them its 500w. Only thing i do right is wear a helmet😅
Hey ebike guy im thinking of building a Tommy like bike not the exact same as yours but similar im using a 72v 350 amp controller a 70 ah battery to pop power wellies like no tommorow should i get a 3.5 or 5t how much slower would 5t be compared to 3.5t
yo love your videos man. so i just got myself a Velotric Summit 1 and i want to make it faster you know lol. what can i do to do this i know bafang has some good stuff. but if i change the motor and stuff will i still be able to keep the features with the bike? like PAS levels and power levels? or just overall any tips on what i can do to make it faster
