Hearing James talk about his experiences with panic attacks is extremely validating. I went through something very similar - although I was in Birmingham, which made it 10x worse lmao. It’s interesting to hear how others reacted to their first panic attack aswell.

This helped me eat my food. It's been difficult for me to eat lately. I can't eat around people or with people but this somehow helped. I need to get better at eating because I want to be a baker and testing food while making is what separates good chefs from great ones. Eboys videos make me very happy. I just discovered the eboys a couple weeks ago (I’m from the US). Although it’s been a year and I’m late to the game, I just wanted to comment on how incredibly refreshing it has been watching all of the pods and videos. Not only are they all hilarious, but they seem to be very supportive and understanding of each other. Of course they give each other shit but in a funny, friendship-y type of way, whatever y’all are doing in the UK, keep it up! These guys are miles ahead of most US RU-vidrs that are the same age.

That podcast was so good even though I haven’t watched 1 min of it yet

James talking about his panic attack made me tear up a little and made my heart hurt. But I’m glad he can talk about it so openly and kinda light hearted. It makes me feel not so alone knowing someone else had a similar experience. My mom went with me to the ER when I had my first one. I also remember telling her I thought my arm was numb. I was never told it was a panic attack though because the tests they did run came back negative and they didn’t have the time to check out anything else and figure out what was really wrong because they had to many other people in the waiting room. It was scary as hell and it took about five more at work for a coworker to suggest that’s what they were. I was taking iron pills and eating different foods to try and make them stop before that because they were so scary. I still have them occasionally to this day.✨

As a student going back into full lockdown would be catastrophic, it would fuck up literally everything, the gov would be forced to make rushed decisions regarding a level and GCSE exams and mental health would plummet again just after people are starting to recover again. So although it seems silly to not close schools and maybe they could work out how to keep certain year groups in school, it would be shockingly bad for majority of students.
