Great video -- your calm, knowledgeable presence inspires confidence. To get the seeds out, have you tried putting the heads in an empty coffee can, attaching the lid and shaking?

I don't like alcohol. I think we should look into alternative tincturing bases.

Echinacea is also suggested to pair with other herbs to address he answers and it should be coupled with other herbal antibiotics to address illnesses that may crop up what or the like but what a lot of people do not understand is it is excellent for food poisoning

Hello Mr. Hollis, thank you for another wonderful video ! Would it be advisable being that tomorrow is the first day of winter to take Echinacea daily that is a few drops to help ward off a cold or is the Echinacea most effective during the first signs of the cold or flu ? Also you talk about making a tincture, how long do you let the Echinacea soak in the menstruum ? Please keep up your great videos. Have a Merry Christmas !

Hi Peter if you get this do realize Echinacea is not for prevention of infection, but for stimulating immune action immediately after infection. Among other benefits

He does states 5 dropperfuls. Do lots of research as to your dosage. There have been people who have said anywhere from 5 drops to a dropper full. This is the first time I've ever seen such a large dose. If you need to, use vegetable glycerin as a substitute to the alcohol. It will have to stay in the glycerin longer compared to the alcohol. (Twice longer than alcohol) So in this case you may also have to increase your dosage due to the fact the glycerin is not as strong. It is a great substitute when using it for people who cannot handle alcohol or for children. First and foremost. Do your research no matter what anybody says until you feel comfortable with your dosage.

He then said something about a one ounce bottle being $15 so maybe he has a small dropper.
