In this video, I checked on my #echinaceapurpurea, or #purpleconeflower, to assess the damage done by my infestation of #checkerspotbutterfly larvae.
One day I have hundreds of caterpillars devouring the echinacea, and the next day garden guardians move in to consume the baby caterpillars.
Such is the way of nature!

I always thought the whole point of a garden was the nature....except for the stray cat that's using my newly installed raised vegetable bed as a litter box. THANKS for the video!

Oh my gosh..thank you! I feel sooo much better. Now just to stay healthy, right?!! With this heatwave, Im pretty much just staying inside. I think we r in a heat advisory until Thursday. Stay cool and stay healthy!!

Awwww, thank you!!! I did decide to just “let it be”, like the song says. I feel like I am here to observe, experience, learn and when I can, teach. Watching the world from the ground up helps me stay grounded. The more I learn about the savage brutality and the savage beauty of nature, the more I come to respect it.
