Great job! I've had the blade kit on a shelf for a couple of years because I'm always a little intimidated by something new like this. I'm going to watch your video one more time tomorrow and put it on. Thanks for providing these great instructions!

Thanks a million for making this video, man! Followed you to the letter today when I ditched the trimmer line in favor of the blade on my Echo 2620 and it worked out flawlessly.

Ton better than the print “instructions “! Kudos to this young fellow for actually speaking well and doing hands on work. Lost art with the younger generation.

Thanks for the video. It gave me enough information to know which pieces to use to install a brushing blade on my SRM-3020U. However, there was no green spacer, only 3 T-25 bolts and 3 nylock nuts that matched the protruding ends of the bolts, so I put them on there.

I just bought a SRM2620 and the blade conversion kit...but didn't come with the shaft locking tool like my last Echo had. Lucky I still have my old tool, I know I could use a screwdriver in a pinch.

Some have a green washer, while other models use a spacer before putting on the locking collar

Thanks! The Echo 80 tooth blade that I want to buy, has instructions saying the SRM 225 carburetor needs adjustment after installation of blade. I'm trying to find a video addressing that in particular. Anyone know about video for that. I'm just starting to look for one but haven't found success yet. Thanks

curious what was the exact SRM model in this video? thanks I ask because I have a SRM 225 & did not use the green metal spacer. I was wondering if I messed up not using it. It seems if I use it the locking nut may cover the cotter pin hole
@stickfigure9662
@stickfigure9662 11 месяцев назад
Have a 225 and did not use green washer as another person said. That small difference when using the green washer dosnt allow for room to add your cotter pin.

I need help! This vid is outdated now with my new echo. In my kit I was given a long neck upper and a short neck upper. Which to use?I have a PAS 225.

There is more in that conversion kit than you showed. The components are model specific and perhaps you can tell what the SRM model number is that you used for the video. The kit comes with two locking collars and you have to measure the length of the drive spline to know which one to use.

I didn't put in the green washer...does it need it....or can it do without? Saw another video where the instructor didn't mentioned to put it on or not.

@RavenWarehouseLotandService
@RavenWarehouseLotandService 2 дня назад
@@brianmichaelparks1 yes i figured it out. There is a small piece that i thought was trash and it was not. That part stops the nut from going too far down . It is like a tiny pipe or coupling called a COLLAR. Its brown. I'll find the name and let you know.

I cant get the damn head off of mine. No matter what I use. A screw driver. Small prying bar. The damn thibg keeps spinning and won't allow me to remove the head

Check to see if the bolts on the guard are causing the shaft to stop. I had to remove the guard for that reason to get my blade to turn an I did have the spacer washer installed.
