The song's title contains several references: to the Biblical Greek word Amygdale (almond tree), the Hebrew 'ma-gadala (The Great Mother), and, of course, Magdalene. Also, the amygdala is the part of our brain that is responsible for all kinds of emotional reactions and emotional memories.
In (more often Gnostic) art, the Magdalene is often depicted holding an anointing vessel containing a special elixir, and in the album's opening song, this vessel is opened, inviting us on a further journey.

Также Амигдала - это миндалевидное тело нашего мозга, отвечающее за формирование всевозможных эмоциональных реакций и эмоциональной памяти.
В искусстве (чаще гностическом) Магдалина часто изображается с сосудом для помазания с особым эликсиром, и в открывающей песне альбома этот сосуд открывается, приглашая нас в дальнейшее путешествие.
