This theme is included in the film and in the album "1492: The Complete Score" with the name of "Echoes of Glory". Both are different versions of the same song.
Vangelis usually play music different from the film for the release of the official soundtrack album. Honestly, this doesn't make any sense, because once he do this, it's no longer the original soundtrack. Only half of the music from the official release album can be heard in the movie, the rest of the songs were played later for the CD. This track was named "Echoes of Glory" in a bootleg released by Andromeda . Monastery of la Rabida was a reinterpretation of this and other tracks from the movie.
