I found out that Echos were really effected by Chester’s passing, like many people around the world. They decided to make this cover as a tribute. They are also donating any profits it makes to a charity decided by Linkin Park’s team.

Almost 6 years - Echos recorded this in just two vocal takes and a couple days of production in one of their apartments, with no studio when they heard about Chester. A beautiful loving tribute to a great man lost too soon.

At first, I didn't realize what this was, until i head the first line and got MASSIVE chills and I'm like, "Oh..... Shit.....", then at the end with the tune from In The End, gave me chills again. This is truly amazing, Chester will be missed.

I had literally just been singing this song (as a personal tribute) and then opened this from my sub feed without looking at the title and it hit me SO hard because i wasn't expecting it at all, the most shivers iv ever had in my life. this was a beautiful cover.

I saw the title and was reminded of Linkin park, clicked on the video and I'm in my feels now, such a beautiful song.

I was in first grade. Me, my brother, and our childhood friends were in my backyard playing and being kids. Our friend Maverick decided to turn on numb by Linkin Park. That moment spawned my love for not only the band, but for music as a whole. They stayed with me through my childhood and even carry over now. I will never forget you Chester. We'll miss you. Thank you echoes for making this beautiful cover. This is some top notch stuff

Chester your great voice reached so many but why didn't reach those many voices you? I love this band so much and this won't be the end. It's the beginning of Linkin Park's and Chester' s legacy. I'm still missing Chester so, so much. As someone who struggles very deeply with anxiety and depression I completely understand and sympathize with what Chester was going through. Just knowing the mental anguish, torture and pain he was in at that moment just breaks my heart and is sadly something I'm all too familiar with. Thank you so much for posting this video and helping me and so many others not feel so alone.

When I seen the name of this song was "Shadow of the Day" I instantly thought of Linkin Park. This is a really beautiful tribute song; it touch my heart very deeply as well as my soul. The way Echos made this song to become such an emotional and impacting song truly makes this piece so amazing. It is pretty upsetting to think that Chester recently passed away... in the end he really did matter to a lot of people (including myself) and he remains alive in our hearts as the rockstar we all grew to know and love. Rest In Peace Chester Bennington, you will be missed very much, but never forgotten. This was a very touching tribute song.
