Yes!! All my friends brush off the eclipse because “they saw it in 2017”, but they weren’t in totality!! 99% and 100% are literally night and day how different they are.
I was in Oregon for 2017 eclipse. I was up on a hill in the countryside looking down in the valley. When totality hit we were in awe. My daughter’s skin looked like silvery stardust and the colors all around us looked otherworldly especially the eclipse. Such beautiful emotions that day and it makes me excited for heaven for all we’ll see and the praises to God we’ll sing there. Glad you got to see this in your lifetime❤️
We drove with several of our homeschool friends to go watch it yesterday. It was soooo beautiful.🥹 I wish that I had a better camera that could capture just a little of that beauty. In 2045 (if our Lord hasnt come back yet), we will be in the area of totality. Beautiful video.

Very cool video. Imagine what people in ancient times would have experienced....wow. Have your boys read Mark Twain's "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court"? In his novel Twain has his protagonist, a 19-century engineer from Hartford named Hank Morgan transported to medieval England, use his knowledge of an eclipse to save himself from execution and convince onlookers that he possesses wizardly powers. I didn't read the book , but Bing Crosby did a nice job in the movie😎
Honest question: Why did everyone get goosebumps and so emotional? Is it a spiritual thing? I've never seen 1 personally,but im tring to understand why everyone was so emotional about it, one thing I know though. .. I think the fact that is this huge natural event that seems eerie and miraculous and totally out of our control was just an emotional moment. No one anticipated they would feel that way, but it really is worth seeing for yourself. I never would’ve believed I would’ve felt so impacted by it. It goes down as one of my top 3 life experiences to be honest. Several friends have said the same. I know it seems like it shouldn’t be that big of a deal, but maybe you can’t understand unless you see it in person.
