Queen of Easy Green™, Lyndsey Young demonstrates how easy it is to erect the Quechua Base Second 4.2 family pop up tent - Quechua available at Amazon fave.co/1itSncs
Hi, what are these tents like in the wind, please? They look a bit easier to pitch/take down than the 4.1 (I'd be doing it on my own 😕) but those flappy sides put me off because I can imagine the wind getting under them.
Post a video of taking it down, its an art you need to practice. Would be good to see you struggle to take it down and get it back in the bag. It's certainly a 2 person effort.
LordLockwood yes, I'd agree with you there. 3 years and 4 family touring holidays later, it's still going strong and I love it as much. Best tent I've ever owned.
I've taken it down and packed it all alone, and it works. However, I recommend getting someone to help, as that is the way it was intended. In emergencies, one can pack it up alone, if you are ready to use your full body to wrestle the thing. It takes practice, to be able to do that, of course.
