Hello Beautiful People! Today I am going to take you through how I started packaging my candles and how that has evolved over time. Hopefully there are some tips within this video that may help you on your journey to finding the right packaging for your candle brand!

Thank You! ❤️ I created the shipper box on Uprinting.com. They are expensive if you aren't ordering them in bulk! Boxes are 5x5x5 which fits one 12oz aura candle. I have since switched to all white shipping boxes with custom tape because it is more cost effective and I can fit more than one candle in each box.

With the wax being so soft and creamy...how do you plan to ship during the hot summer months?

I will be making a video on summer shipping soon! I use insulated bubble wrap and ice packs. It is hard to explain but you will get the picture when I publish the video! I promise I will have it out before summer shipping begins! lol

With the cost of the Jar, the white box because those are expensive and the custom mailer box, what does your profit look like? Not even including the wax, wooden wick, special paper, care card and thank you cards. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful.

Thank you so much!! ❤️ I actually purchased my papers from rifle paper co. Beware, it is super expensive! The paper is so soft, I don't think it would work in a printer but you can definitely give it a try. Maybe attach the paper to your label sticker sheet first and then print on it? Let me know if you try it out and how it works! Good Luck!

Did you design your brand stuff yourself or did you outsource a designer? Like designing your logo and brand font, etc. If you used a designer, how did you find them?

Hi Hanna, I designed everything myself. When starting a business and trying to pay for everything with your own money, you try to cut as many corners as possible. It was difficult and took many months but I am so happy that I was able to come up with a logo design that fit my vision!

What are you using to seal the candle scent??? I've have been looking for tops for my candles to seal the scent in

I don't use lids or seals. It is not necessary to seal in the scent. Lids protect the wax in your candle from daily dust and grime. You can also use your lid to snuff your candle but definitely not necessary to keep the scent in.

What printer do you use/recommend for label printing or laser printer? I ben doing so much research & can't find the right one.

Hi Astrid, I use an HP inkjet printer for my labels. Laser printers are good as well. There difference is that the laser printer uses toner so they are best to use if you are thinking of making metallic labels.

No, when someone orders multiple I use a larger shipping box but I still pack the candles in the white linen boxes with ribbon.

Oh really! Thanks for the tip! I got the boxes from Etsy. There are so many suppliers on Etsy and people don't think to check but they tend to be a bit more reasonable than the larger companies. www.etsy.com/listing/white-linen-candle-boxes-for?
