With very calm driving, you can stay below 7.5L/100km in urban conditions. The X5-30d 6cyl 195kw 265hp on the video is 100% diesel and not hybrid at all To date, I have 90k on the clock with an average of 5.6L/100. I sometimes do 5.0L/100 for more than 10000km without any reset ☝️

Thanks brother. The DPF is prone to clogging regardless of the diesel used worldwide. The only way to keep it clean would be to put the gas on full throttle from time to time, especially if you drive moderately and economically. The blast of high temperature exhaust gases is enough. I rather prefer the pajero 2.8 with two solid axles of the previous generation! to that with IFS. Otherwise for the 4n15 it still has a lot of things to complain about despite its 430Nm. Have a look on this googling result : Disadvantages of the Mitsubishi 4N15 engine ●The main problems are delivered by a quickly clogged particulate filter and the EGR valve; ●There are cases of failure of expensive piezo injectors up to 100,000 km; ●Some owners with mileage over 100,000 km had to replace the timing chain; ●The intake manifold flaps are overgrown with soot and the control unit is throwing errors.
@@x5or Im assuming the EGR and clogged dpf is a common symptom for modern diesel engines in general but I will definitely take a look at the other two problems . Thanks for the heads up !
First of all, you have to switch to Eco-pro mode to benefit from some advantages. The first and most important is the freewheel function available as soon as the accelerator pedal is released. This allows the vehicle to behave like a sailboat, allowing it to cover distances that are impossible to reach in comfort mode. That said, the transmission becomes totally disconnected from the wheels. This promotes very low rolling resistance which becomes linked mainly to aerodynamics and therefore more kilometers to be covered thanks to this so-called (self-engaged neutral point). Last Saturday I traveled 1150km on a very hilly route with long mountainous passages at an average speed of 85.5km/h. The consumption report was 5.7L/100km, 41mpg.uk, 49mpg.us To date, I have 59000km on the clock for a consumption of 5.7L/100 since the purchase of the vehicle. This includes the urban cycle, extra urban, the mountain, and of course the off road!

I agree with you on your self-respecting reasoning of course 👍 Yes indeed, as you mentioned, the majority of my trips (60 to 75%) are on the highway with an average of 85-90km/h. It happens quite often to me to do 160-190km/h to clear the DPF (pedal at full throttle) Six years ago, my driving was excessively dynamic and highly energetic. During that period of 25 years I was unbeatable on all levels on the road! it might seem quite contradictory to you but it was indeed my philosophy at the time when I was also doing 230km/h (gps!) However, with age and time, we slowly come back to the good reason of things.
