OMG! IT HASN'T CHANGE! My parents were Diplomatic. We were in New Delhi from 1965-1970. My brother and I still remember our address. 22 Defence Colony. We had a grand time! I learned how to swim in the Yamuna River. It was not planned and we ended up with typhoid. As for these monkeys. They were a problem back then too! I had to have rabies shots because of one of these monkeys. Back then it was 1 shot in the stomach for 28 days. The Sisters at Holy Family Hospital saw a lot of my brother and myself. The Burning Gate, the Red Fort, Old Delhi and more. We drove our Nanny and Sikh guard nuts! Best childhood EVER! My brother is 67 now and I am 62. We may have left India but India has never left us.

Thank you for sharing your story. Please know that as a white US born citizen., I do care about the people of India, and have extreme concern for their safety and welfare because of the “monkey menace” I have watched the documentary twice on freevee. it opened my mind to how bad the coexistence was. Children getting killed. Adults being bitten 10 to 20 times. Breaking into houses, hospitals and government institutions and raising kitchens destroying living environment. I’m glad that you are away from all of that mess. However, I feel they need our help. Instead of sending money to Iran, so they can build weapons against us., the funding needs to be shifted so that the Indian lives are protected. Yes I know we are humans there forests, and the government made no plan to relocate the wildlife. It does not excuse the awful behavior of monkeys.

I read in an article as of September 2023 that the monkey menace problem has continued to grow out of control. The government has tried to hire monkey catchers, but do not have enough of them..

What these people do. They first catch the monkeys and then release them soon after. These should be neutered so they don’t multiply.

Without variation, monkeys would figure out pattern and ignoring the noise. Also he is getting paid, might loose job if authority start using same method.

If any NDMC official is reading this, I want to bring to your attention that there is a significant increase in monkey population in Laxmi Bai Nagar(110023) which falls under NDMC jurisdiction. No action has been taken by NDMC.

So happy to see people feeding animals on film, but I would be upset if they do start feeding near our house or society. All that food attracts more animal population and cause more trouble, especially to children.

I like how all those monkey lovers with big faces , hice homes and nice clothes talking about saving monkeys . While poor have to suffer. I am sure if monkeys were attaching this monkey lovers famies they would not try to save monkeys

They need to be spayed and neutered and/or relocated. I cannot imagine what people must go through who have them running wild in their towns, yards and homes - eating crops and damaging everything. I can understand wanting them exterminated - but i think severe birth control would help if there is money for it. If there is not, then something still must be done. Although i like monkeys - i only like them way out in the wild where they belong. Not as pets in youtube videos and certainly not abused to make money, but they don't belong living so close to human populations in such large numbers. Maybe a large preserve? Its an almost unsolvable problem. I can see both sides of the coin here.

@@mamaboocee they said in this video sterilization made the monkeys more aggressive, they tried a huge sterilization program, the number of monkeys went down but number of bites by very aggressive sterilized monkeys increased. So apparently it's not the answer

@@kristinboulden7393 wow i didn't know that. I guess the very RICH people need to stop taking their natural habitat in the name of greed and money. They have no concept of what they are doing to the earth and all the people and animals they "use" just so they can live without seeing something distasteful. Especially people born into money. They just have no concept of "need" vs "have" or "necessity" vs "overindulgence". The earth has reached the tipping point. The natural balance has been ruined for the time being qnd will take eras to reset. Soon mother earth will start to reset herself and wipe away the parasites that infest her. Humans. The only animal on earth that will steal, waste and ruin another animals meal just for the sport of it.

Get a app that sounds like the Langer monkey and put stuffed animals that look like the langur monkey sitting on your back like backpack and in front of your door with motion detectors when motion monkey moves and makes Langer scream

I am sure no one in those areas want any more monkeys either. Also these monkeys have now been accustomed to living in an urban area, they likely don’t have the skills to be moved to a whole new habitat.

The babies are crazy milk addicts that throw overdramatic temper tantrums throwing itself on the ground twitching and screaming when they are denied milk for a moment. Never seen such greedy gluttonous vermin in my life. Spoiled entitled brats that only care about food useless animals

they can't kill monkeys because they are considered as their god. but I'm a bit confused, isn't god helping his servants and not causing trouble. I don't know, that's their belief. they are the ones who should be responsible for taking care of their god

Probably u know that in many countries wild boars and monkeys or baboons are the main threats to corps that's why their govt legalized hunting them.but if our govt do the same our bhakts will start outrage in the name of god.......btw I'm a hindu and I'm in favor of killing these lil beasts.
