In this episode I go through my thought process when choosing a suspension for our 2021 EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler and install suspension wheels and tires.
I have the same jeep with the Ecodiesel...I just installed the Pedal Commander on it and holy shit - like a new engine. Great videos very informative - Thanks
Great video and channel! I'm getting this lift and you made the install look way too easy bro! Did you have to disconnect any wires when you droop the axles? Do a wheel alignment? Update speedo w/37s? What's the overall height from ground to rooftop after lift+37s?
Hey brother was curious to what your height is for a comparison to the jeep. I just ordered a 22 rubi and I am not 100% on if ill go 2.5 or 3 5 for suspension. Definitely wanting 37s but eventually would go to 40s so I am leaning toward the 3.5. Appreciate it and love the content brother.
hey mike! this jeep looks awesome. i have a 22 eco diesel gladiator. im a short man at 5’5 so im still trying to decide if i should go 2.5 or 3.5 for the lift.also, what your wheel size and offset?
Great vid and rig man! Im curious, with a 2.5 loft, is there enough room to rock crawl if you wanted to? Im stuck between 35s and 2.5 loft or 37s with 3.5 lift(but if i can do 2.5 for both then its a lil easier) Also, do you need to upgrade axle, driveshaft, or balljoints?(im getting a diesel jlur as well)
Thanks! What do you mean is there enough room? I don't understand. Need is subjective, when it comes to shafts but I will change ball joints for sure. I did Dynatrac ball joints on my gladiator and love them.
@@Mike.A.Hernandez no worries, i just meant is there enough room for the tires to move up and down with the suspension while rock crawling without rub. Thank you for the insight with the driveshaft and ball bearing stuff too
@@Cptkirk1315 ohhhh yes I see what you are saying. This EvoMFG suspension is designed for 37s on Rubicon models. The limiting factor for wheel travel will be a couple things like shock length and bump stops so this setup will still travel like the factor setup.
With lift and 37s you won't get 30mpg anymore I promise. We ordered a 2022 EcoDiesel Rubicon and once we had the dealer put all the parts I ordered on to include a 2.5 lift and 35s(they installed for free and gave a 1500 cash back for ordering with them and sold us the Jeep at MSRP, no mark ups) the Jeep gets closer to 22-25mpg.. on stock tires and no lift it was around 30mpg. Hoping the RPM act goes through so we can delete it. In-law has a Ram ecodiesel deleted, dogs it and still gets 34mpg.. I think it makes 475hp now
