Just watched a 9 minute ecoflow commercial and I'm not even mad.

New prepper here.....got a 2000watt (different brand) power station. But I'm looking to purchase a 2nd one. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for getting ready for when SHTF. People have short term memory. I remember the GREAT TOILET PAPER SHORTAGE....i.never want to have that feeling of being helpless again. That was my wake up call

We bought one of these last year and LOVE it! It has saved us so many times here in California.

I bought EcoFlow Delta 1300 on Dec 25, 2021 with its 2 Year warrant. After using this unit for a UPS for my Main Desktop Computer, the EcoFlow decides to shut down and not to work anymore. Even though this is expected with any device, it was dealing with customer support that will stop me from ever buying anything from this company! I dealt with Joyce in customer service and I asked to speak with a supervisor and all I got was the run around! Customer service came out directly and said they wouldn’t do that! Hard to fix a problem when you are not allowed to talk to ANYONE!

Love it, that's what my family is working on now, solar powering our tiny home.

As your showing the power generators I will say this that is one heavy duty table!. My wife and have been looking at a lot of different solar generators but the cost right now is high especially on a fixed income. But you do provide very well done information on these units. Thank you for your time to educate!.!

I'm definitely a fan of EcoFlow. I have the River Pro with a spare battery and a Delta 1000. I'd love to have the higher power of the Delta 2 Max, but for the price I went with units that would cover my basic needs. I have a Generac whole house 22k generator and a Honda 2200 inverter generator, but both are limited to fuel on hand and best used for outages that last for days or weeks rather than for months.

Thanks for the video. I have been looking at solar power for my house for a little while now but like everything else there are so many out there it’s hard to choose one. Reviews like this help with the decision.

Newer prepping here, I definitely need to improve my preps regarding power... I saw your solar power video and ended up getting a cheaper portal unit to learn on and I can confidently say Camping with 1 versus without 1 makes a world of difference So I can only imagine what the world would be like without electricity and being the only person on the block with one of these bad boys. Not that everyone on the block needs to know that I have it but you know... Feels good to be ready...

Just purchased as part of my larger hurricane “grid down” power redundancy, including x2 Honda EU2200 and. River pro. The combination of the EF Delta 2 Max with the Hondas should give a reasonable extension of my limited gasoline supply. Thank you for the review, helped influence my decision

I have the Ecoflow mini i think i paid 600 and change and i love it. When you start getting into the bigger solar generators, as the Delta 2 Max they are way beyond my fixed incomes budget. If you want to prepare for a grid down scenario i suggest DIY batteries, Solar Panels, Charge controller. and Inverter. Depending on what you need to run you can pay about 200.00 for a battery (AGM) 30 Amp charge Controller 120.00, 2000 watt Inverter about 175.00 , solar panel (s) 80.00 for 100 watts and lets say 50.00 for wiring. So for about 700.00 or little less you can run just about anything you need in case of an emergency. Also the thing about Led Acid batteries they are not susceptible to an EMP. LIPO Batteries have electronics inside(BMS) and would have to be protected against an EMP. I don't like to have to post this kind of response because Ecoflow sells great products, but a lot of us just cant afford the top of the line solar generators.

I strongly agree. I'm actually considering buying this very model. I already own an EcoFlow River 600 MAX, which I've had for around two years now, and I'm kinda torn between waiting and saving up to go for The EcoFlow Delta Pro or going right now, for the Delta Max Version 2 instead. IMHO, it looks to me like the Delta Pro is probably the very pinnacle of the contemporary Solar Generator Market, while I think the Delta Max Version 2 hits the sweet spot in performance versus price.

Just bought one on Memorial Day sale and have been testing it. So far its a great addition to my prepping line up. Now i have a 4500 Champion gas/ propane gen and the delta 2 Max with solar panels. Im testing its capabilities at the moment, so far real happy

Thank you for pointing out that this model can power a portable AC! Their surges are pretty insane and with a surge rating of 4800W (and 3400W continuous) this should power the majority of them, especially the ones with inverter technology.

Good review 👍 Ecoflow makes some awesome products. I picked up a Delta a few years ago for emergencies. I encourage every serious prepper to get a good solar generator, to have that same peace of mind..

Just got me a Delta 2 recently. It's awesome. What it can power is absolutely nuts. I got an old fridge and it pulls 125W/ average 118W when steady. PS4 and a 40inch TV just 70W.(Volume high and playing COD online)😂. Small rice cooker with 1 cup rice and using 1 bottle of water to wash rice 2x and rest to boil. High 338W but rice is done within 16 minutes. Basics are out the way. Everything else is just extra. Just know I'll be better off than most. Plus I can have movie nights almost everyday if I want.😅. Just need to buy DVDs😢

A small part of me hates myself for now waiting for this product to come out before pulling the trigger on my Delta Max. It is what it is and the Delta Max is a beast in its own. I'm not planning on running it down as I use it for camping and emergency situations. But man, this Delta 2 Max is a game changer on the market. If I was still looking for a unit, the Delta 2 max is a no brainer.

These would be great for a lot of people. I just wish the prices weren't so high! I started with a smaller Bluetti model and it didn't take long to realize that getting a LifePO4 battery was a better option for me.

Exactly what I've been waiting for. Ecoflow with 2000w + inverter and storage, lifepo4 battery, and under $2000. Their going to put bluetti out of business.

Sounds good. 51 lbs might seem light to you, but wait until you get into your 70s! So even though the Anker 767 is heavier, the presence of the wheels makes me lean more in that direction. I'll see if I can find something around 50 lbs and do some lifting tests. Thanks for all of your work in this area.

We bought this model with four of the 220W solar panels and 100' extended cable along with an extra battery with plans to buy a second spare battery. This thing is a beast!

Question. First thanks for another great educational video. So how does this stack against Anker 767 now that the software updates came out? Thank you

What sold me on this was the ability to charge it (and keep it charged) via standard 120AC grid current, but when the power goes out , will keep my POE Reolink security cameras, Wifi, ham radios, computers and SimpliSafe alarms working. I am running a dedicated power supply to all of these using a "dead man's wire connection" with male plug from the 120VAC grid receptacle via a short wire connected to another live male plug. Right now, without a relay switch, in the event of a power failure, I have to manually unplug from the grid and plug it into the older solar battery unit I have. All of this because: When are you most at risk or burglers or home invasions? Ans: When the grid power is out!

I’ve seen a lot of info on Ecoflow, they’re a very slick company! Haven’t seen a bad review about them yet. I thought I had a power station bought the other day, but it was a “too good to be true”- ha.

I bought the Delta Max with extra batteries about a year ago. I've been waiting for the LiFePo4 model to supplement what I can already do. I can power most of my home with these.

pretty amazing the improvements these companies are making, just wish it was not 2000 dollars, ill get one eventually to replace my baby jakery I use for camping

Loved the EcoFlow delta 2 but now I want this

Very nice. Must have for a prepper. Or at least an equivalent.

Oh no! A storm is here in Texas & will last for days. The power goes out & the Delta 2 Max (2048Wh) is running. After 14 hours it goes dead. I plug it the wall & nothing happens and it is too cloudy for solar panels. I have to get out my 9400W tri-fuel generator, connect it to natural gas, start it up and power my house and A/C (and maybe the EcoFlow). I really don't have an EcoFlow, but I do have the tri-fuel generator. I don't care about the noise, it blends in with my neighbors' generators. As a backup I have 600W of solar, with (1) 1408Wh & (2) 666Wh power stations and haven't paid over 38 cents/Wh.

Anker 767 has a 30amp RV plug, EFD2Max does not. BUT EFD2Max has two solar inputs, Anker767 only one. I was going to purchase the A767 because of plug, but my 2500w gas gen doesn't have a RV plug and it powers the RV just fine with adapter. Now I lean toward the EFD2Max because of the two solar inputs. By tomorrow will someone else will muddy the decision even more? Ha.

Thank you for this video. Could you tell me how long term storage of this item would adversely affect the battery life? Is this an item that must be topped off and cycled through continually to maintain peak efficiency or can it sit dormant until need arises?

Great review, EcoFlow products are awesome

X-boost does not increase wattage, it simply forces high power devices to use less by dynamically lowering the voltage (and without causing a brown-out, which is pretty cool). It won’t work with compressors, but is fantastic for anything with a heating element. Just understand that the heat generation will still be capped at 2400 watts, even if you plug in a 3000 watt heater. And +1 on combining an EcoFlow with a Honda. The 2200 is a perfect match as it can support the high speed (1800w) charge setting of Delta 2 Max. On cloudy days you can get a lot of charge by running the generator for just an hour.

My house is probably in a couple freezers and Olight. The water heater for my central air conditioning system I need at least 20 KW from my old house. I do agree it’s pretty handy thing to have and it’s not cheap. I also have a question about the charging cycles, when it says next number charges up to 80% does that really mean it or does it mean charging the battery to 80% every time it’s you that cycles ?I know that lithium ion technology will last long as if it’s charged at 80% and discharge to 20% I’m not sure about lithium iron phosphate batteries.

I have the original Delta Max (w/ 1 spare battery) and I’m about to upgrade to the Delta 2 Max. The LiFePO battery & 2nd solar charging port make it a no brainer for me. Yes, it’s a very expensive upgrade, but the extra 2000 recharging cycles means that the new unit will easily last longer than a decade of hard use instead of 2-3 years tops.

I have an Ecoflow for emergencies after I lost all of the food in the refrigerator due to a power outage. I haven't needed it yet but I am actively looking for a second one for other appliances in case of an outage. Thank you.

I wish the inverter efficiency was better but it is a 2400 watt inverter I wish the expandable batteries available were 2-3k like previously and they would have a 12V out and 100 watt pd usb out maybe even an XT60 and take 500 watts of solar independently from the main unit similar to the Pecron expandables

Great video. There is a small error on your spread sheet. On the Overview tab cell H6 should be =B6/C6 but it reads =B6/C5

This was mostly just a rewording of the feature lists of the units reviewed. I'd love some realworld answers like does EcoFlow shut off the external batteries when they are drained? Once main unit begins charging again does it restart the external batteries or does require some body to manually restart the external batteries? The answer to the questions are key as the AC200max behaves as described above which limits its ability to be used in remote environments.

Have you done any testing on solar generators for the complete home i understand that a lifestyle change will be involved however I want to get off grid while still being within grid limits I have lived off grid for many years and I don’t like not having control over my power needs

what happens if it's cloudy and nothing much for sun, then what? Most power outages unless planned by the power companies are due to storms. If you have a week of cloudy bad weather how well will this work with solar panels? Or is the fossil fuel generator the better choice for a guaranteed source of power?

I really appreciate your review on this but I just can't afford to spend the money for it now my wife and I live on a fixed income and I'm more concerned with concerned about having more metals like brass I will consider getting something similar if I get to it just starting to prep I really like your content and we'll be praying God bless you and your family

where i feel they need to improve is the expand ability and the charge rate with solar. 6k seems like a lot but if you were to use this as a hole house backup it would only last a few hrs. I have a 17.5 kw multi fuel generator it has a 15 gal tank {gas} it will run at full capacity for 24 hrs under almost full load that is with my AC running on and off. for the price of these units i still have a hard time chewing on it. I think if you are going to go solar at this time the full house solar system still may be the only way to go. again for the efficiency for cost is just not enough They really need to find a way to get it closer to gas or nat gas efficiency, for the price. just my imput. I am def not saying that they dont work or for there intended use could be a good for prolonged use with a gas type unit combo.

i just watched dr hobo's review on this battery and the UPS function on his unit worked flawlessly. his laptop didn't power down when the power was cut. i have the delta 2 pro and it will drop in power... unfortunate

Mine broke. No ac output. After numerous phone calls and numerous emails it took well over a month for them to send me a shipping label to return it.

Love echo flow we have the river mini, pro, delta 1000.

I hope the fans are quieter than with the small Ecoflow Delta 2. As soon as you draw more than 100 watts of power, the fans are in continuous operation. I'm not particularly happy with the Delta2

What are you using to plug from the ecoflow to the transfer switch? I am assuming this 30’amp outlet but it does not have a 30 amp on the system. Maybe obvious to many but not me😊
