This guy is a champion I spoke to him a few days ago on the phone. I live in Sydney though but will definitely be getting mick to build me a 304 stroker motor Even if I have to drive 8 hours to meet him Definitely can see his a top bloke
Another great video visiting the past engines. Diagnosis is an art form. It takes many years to master. Many people would be surprised what some noises end up being. I remember the look on a friends face when he started up his VN holden commodore and it sounded like the bottom end had let go. He said the engines gone and I said no go get me a new harmonic balancer. After balancer change there was no more noise and he could smile again.
Ooer Mick with some super 6 action what a treat! Was actually very keen to see his method to get those main caps off and he made it look so easy. Would the water pump grinding away really make a knocking sound?? Great content as usual lads
Nice stickers, make em available oneday ? Great channel and looking forward to see it grow. Those head gaskets looked new, same as the lifter trays. Damn, full rebuild for a faulty water pump. Makes me feel better when I replaced the starter motor when my plugs were wrong.
Interesting vid, but I personally would've spent more time checking for movement in the key areas like big end and mains, side movement of rods etc before rattling them all loose.
