*I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/ECOVACS-N79S** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*
You saved my day. I went nuts trying to figure out the malfunction. My guess was the battery but, it was not. Now I have it running as I speak. Thank you so much. God Bless You.
I've a DN622/N79. Never got the unit to work with my WiFi. Never saw ECOVACS_00xx at any time, and yes I tried everything (2.4), press for 1 beep, etc. etc.
And same here. I don't think it's a 2.4 question, rather due to age of the unit and compatibility with newer access points and only connect to legacy versions of 802.11 standards that the DN622/N79. Think I actually read this somewhere on a support page that I spend countless hours researching. What hoping to get it to map a room and vacuum more efficient than go-bump-random new direction.
Great review. I have had mine since 2019. Had it running daily for 2 years before I needed to replace the battery. Still working until now. I did need to replace the side brush and filters every few months. Hair tends to get caught on the main roller brush so weekly cleaning is a must. I find that these clean better on hardwood / tile floors rather than carpet.
Great review, thanks for taking the time to do this for us. I just bought one of these on Woot! for $89.99 and I was wondering what I was getting. This was very informative and a good head start on how to use it when it gets here.
Please instruct on how to remove a Deebot N79 series cover. I bought a used Deebot and need to reprogram it. Everything I have read says to push the reset button UNDER the cover.....
Great video. Just got this on the marketplace. Question: The box light is green, but the deebot vacuum itself doesn't show any lights to show it's ready. Is it going to let me know when it's ready, and do I leave it on the off or on position??
I do not have this robo vac any more, however, from what I remember you need to leave it on the "on" position and there should be a light on the top of the robot that will be blue when it is ready to go.
We liked this vacuum but we were not able to keep it off of a delicately weaved rug because it was pulled the woven threads. We tried everything to block it but it would always get through and unto this rug. We have basically stopped using it which is unfortunate because we liked it. I called the company but they weren't able to help me resolve this issue. Any ideas?
Sadly with this robo vac there is not. It just bounces around until it hits something. The only thing would be moving the rug or putting something heavy around it to keep the robo vac from going on it.
I have the same Dyson. With a one Husky mix dog would you still recommend the Deebot? I have to vacuum almost daily to keep up. I have mainly carpet in the house. @Wanderer001
Jose Castro 2 cats! 🤣 HA! My malamute’s TAIL throws more hair than 2 cats. Robot vacuums are not for you, Buddy. Here’s what I do- I open all my windows & doors. Then I bring in my leaf blower and blast it all outside. Hey, whatever it takes, right?
