ECTO-1 Premium Light Kit by Brickstuff 

I purchased my Ecto-1 light kit from Brickstuff when they first came out with this set. I got it over a month ago and completely happy.

I am not usually into light kits but this looked very cool. Love all the features but mainly that they have detailed instructions for the build. I am definitely going to check out their stuff to see if there is anything that would interest me. Thanks Alex.

Looks like there are a lot of great functions with that lighting kit. I went with lightmybricks version for my Ecto-1

I¨m so excited as i know i am getting the Ecto-1 for christmas from my partner + a light kit probably not this exact one... I´m a big fan of the original two ghostbusters and recently went to the premiere of Ghostbusters Afterlife and really loved it... a brilliant movie that connects well with the original movie from 1984. Looking forward to have this beauty on my shelf with lights that will be set on a timer :)

I was lucky and I just purchased a new Lego ECTO-1 kit. This light kit looks nice.

I hope this is wrong. The lego set is only $200 yet the light kit is an ADDITIONAL $300 ?!?$. Seriously? 😳

The circle bit under the fins don’t actually light up on the actual car but the two top lights on the fins light up part of the fins that are closer to the back door

Just got the 10274 for Christmas from my girlfriend. I think I’m gonna order this kit. I need the siren to complete the build.

Have you ever used the Light My Bricks lighting kits and compared them to the Brickstuff lights? I usually am getting the Light My Bricks kits so I was wondering how they compared to the Brickstuff kits.

Do you still have to pinch the wires in between lego parts? If so, does that mean that the parts won't be as flushly connected as before without the wiring?

I would love to get this but not when the light kit is more money then the lego set.

I honestly prefer the Game of Bricks light kit for $26. I just feel this one is way overpriced.

Im not a huge fan of Ghost busters but I'm am a huge fan of Legos.

I can't say - with all the remote clicking that you did - that it's quite responsive. Is that because it's IR or something? Is there a receiver it needs to see? And then that LOUD clicking too. Also: although you might like it (I can't grasp your euphoria)... WHY would you need a "harness" for the remote??? It's not like you're going to screw it to the wall or something! :-D Then my (almost) final remark: the USB cable. Really??? All that length of cable? It looks annoying, disturbing, in the way. I guess it wasn't possible for Brickstuff to solder a micro USB port to the controller board? As you can guess by now: Nope! I'm not a fan. I've seen better sets than this one. Now did you notice that I didn't mention anything about the price? Wanna know why? Because it is RIDICULOUS!!! US$ 314,99 for real?!?! That's well over $100 more than the car itself!!! Get outtha here!

Absolutely no way worth the price . Someone is seriously cashing in and wires are visible.

Im glad i didnt purchase this light kit for you, it may have never been put together...
