Full review of LEGO's new Ghostbusters Ecto-1! 

I’m not a Lego guy but...... Damn! It’s a masterpiece.

On the passenger and driver doors your missing some grey flat pieces that hide the studs.

I just finished my Ecto build this morning at 1am myself. It took me about 9 hrs as well. I found it hard putting it down once I got started as well. This was my 1st Lego set build since I was a child. I absolutely LOVE this build! Lego did a great job designing it. A definite need for any GB Collector.

By the way you can contact LEGO about that windshield and they will send you a new one

Just got this today! I was floored by how huge the box is. I would never be able to assemble the blitzway model, so this is a good compromise. I don't really collect Legos, but as a GBfan, I can't wait to complete it. (although I'm trying to not finish too soon) I'm planning on displaying this with my Afterlife Plasma figures (can't decide whether to add the rust). Hope you had a good Christmas, Jason!

My Fiance got one for me last Christmas. An absolutely fantastic design, the detail is exquisite and to build it was a blast.

I like that the rust is stickers, that way you can have an OG ecto 11 if you want

When I was younger, when I played with my Ghostbusters figures, I used the Hot Wheels Ecto-1 as a small, RC trap that the guys could control from the Ecto.

I was not wanting one at first. $200 at Christmas is hard to drop on myself when I got 4 kids, but now after your video I need one.

I love Ghostbusters and Lego so I got this as soon as it was released.I just wish it was released as the Ecto 1 from the original films with the option to change parts to look like the in the new film.But still an awesome model! I hope they release more iconic vehicles.

There's a guy I watch on here sometimes, he restores die cast toy cars. What he does a lot with the plastic windshields is to use plastic polish ( who knew that even existed?) and they come out really well. Perhaps you could give that a try too prior to trying to find a replacement part.

Ghostbusters Afterlife is going to be continuing the story after Ghostbusters the video game "PS3/xbox 360 version" When looking in the afterlife trailer you see that the the kids are walking to a place called shandor mines. Shandor was the leader of gozer the gozarian. When playing the video game you supposedly defeat shandor and he is the one who killed gozer. Also when looking in the trailer you see the terror dog. I believe that shandor will come back or be awakened and gozer will return causing havoc. The video game does play an important part in the Ghostbusters story even if it isn't a movie it is the next set of events after the second movie.

I've had the honor of meeting the man that wore and built Stay Puft man suit in the original movie. :)

If I get that, I'm not sure whether to stick the rust part stickers or not....

I bought both ghostbusters cars from lego and they are sexy machine's I am building mine in about the same time 8 or 9 hours but taking it all in.

Just letting you know, you missed a piece in the front wheel wells.. I almost did too. Easy to miss from instructions

They are hard to find.... Sold out (temporarily) on the Lego website. I managed to get a brand new, sealed one on Ebay for less than what they sell for retail

Hey hey I also have this set and i wanted to let you know, you forgot 3 pieces on your Ecto. A 1x2 white tile on the Ghostsniffer and a 1x8 grey tile on the doors. Look it up in the instructions! Hope I could help!

Ok I just have a couple of just basic questions about this toy, first and foremost. Obviously I whant to know the asking price for this toy and secondly do the plasma or animated action figures factually in fact fit inside the vehicle itself or does it just come with those tottaly Lame weebles figures like the PlayMobile toy did !!!

Also your missing a 1x2 white flat piece for on top of the sniffer

You should buy a second one to make it look like the ecto-1 from the first Ghostbusters
