日本の中学でこれが一番最初に出てくるのはinterestedとinteresting ですね。surprised とsurprising も出てきますけど共通しているのはedの方は熟語で覚えるような指導なんです。だからどっちも単独のexcited とexciting が出てきた時に使い分けができなくなります。The story makes me exciting.という間違いに至りますよね。このニックさんの動画の内容は教科書に入れてほしいですよね。
You're inspiring for all participants. 💯正解です^^ ”You're inspired" は「あなたはインスピレーションを感じている」と逆の意味になっちゃいますね^^ でも、「You inspire those who watch your channel」と「inspire 人」という動詞を使えば、「みんなにインスピレーションを与えている」と言うことができます^^
私は長年の英語の仕事の経験から、edの形容詞は主語が人、ingの形容詞は主語がモノだと思って、使い分けてきました。トップ画面を見たとき、あ、これって！と思い説明を聞いたときには、合点が行くものでした。例外はあるとは思いますが、I 'm interested in this book.とThis book is interesting.という使い分けは正しかったのです。嬉しい限りです!!
