Always liked Stewpot. Started with him as a kid on Junior Choice and followed him over to radio 2 as I got older, then he gave my kids the old fun again every Xmas. Great memories. Byeeee!

RIP Ed, I went to your Radio 1 Roadshow on Selsey Bill beach about 40 years ago.......you made so much pleasure so I am sure you are in the top place.

I’m American, Ed grabbed my attention in a RU-vid video of British TV commercials, his was for Coffeemate. He was charismatic in the spot and I had to look him up. He seemed like a great guy, wish I knew him. Rest with the angels Ed. Heaven is your new airwave ❤️

I want to say something. I grew up with Uncle Mac. Being a small child that guy scared the sh1t out of me. "Good bye children everywhere" Load of crap. Ed comes along and brings joy to the kids Elo Darling. He did nt put fear into the kids Great job Ed. Uncle Mac Stupid man..Maybe because it was the Light Programme.
