Its a bad reversal for sure. It can be neutral jumped and it can also be jab baited as well. Idk wtf capcom was thinking. Whats the benefit for it being slow? Being able to yolo DP an oponents DP on their wakeup? I swear capcom always makes certain characters low tier for the fuck of it.
I could be wrong, but Ed’s reversal was the same deal in sfv. Overall it seems they made him a lot better. I wasn’t too big into sfv so I’m not too sure though
It doesn't make him low tier at all but it is an unnecessary weakness to keep. It was used to balance his one button inputs in V, it has no purpose here. But he still has a great reversal with his level 1 super so...
