Nick you’re a Knight in shining armour. Incredible what you are doing for Eddie. 🙏 As someone who spent 10 days in Pattaya Memorial traveling alone also, you have quite literally saved his life.
Nick I know you won’t want to hear this but you (and Dan) are a absolute legend and hero for looking after Ed like this, the running back and forwards is a serious inconvenience to you running a business. We all know Eddie doesn’t have any family or very close friends in Thailand with him (also not sure he has much family back in the UK) so your support and assistance is absolutely invaluable to him. On behalf of all us, Thank you so much ❤
@NDTViThailand is not about the costs, but your time and effort, that wil not make hem feel lonely in this difficult time 🎉 good job, you are good friend
This is proof not all heros wear cape's 🙏 big up to you and Dan Dan Nick.👍 I personally think you saved Ed's life. Best wishes Ed. Safe journey home.🙏👍
Mad respect for you Nick. What you did for Ed must have breathed a new life in him. I have been in that kind of situation for 7 months with no one around, and I know the value of a good company even for a few minutes can be a life saver. Salute to you my man. Wishing Ed a quick painless recovery.
The first message I sent to Ed on his stroke video was to get in touch with you . Because I had every faith you would be his saviour and I have been proved right. Well done Nick.A loyal friend
I know the U.K. has issues but he will be looked after and going home might give him a little peace of mind , when he is fit again he can go back and carry on with his retirement. Secondly how important is it he has you as you could feel alone and get very depressed alone in a foreign country . Well done nick good man
I'm so pleased to watch this. Ed's original plan to fly home under his own steam without using the travel insurance policy was a sure sign he wasn't thinking straight. You take out travel insurance PRECISELY to help you deal with a situation like this. His plan was both nonsensical and dangerous for his long term wellbeing You are a good man Nick for both making Ed see sense and then helping him through the process.
Did you catch the name of the insurance that covers him, I am the same age as Ed, I will be in Thailand for the next 3 months. Did he say Post office 11 pounds he paid. I didnt understand it, which insurance for people who are US citizens?
@davidhallnyc think it was post-office.In aussie, Australia Post offers travel insurance but, you can only claim after the incident/episode. Travel insurance has almost doubled after the pandemic.
Great news to hear "Steady Eddy" is getting proper treatment in a good hospital! Thank you to Nick and all the other people helping Eddy in his time of need!
All the best to Ed for a swift recovery. I’ve been out of the loop lately and have no idea what’s happened. But wishing Ed all the best. Thanks for the update.
Nick and Dan, I do not know you personally but I want to thank you for a wonderful video. People like you restore my faith in human nature. You have been a great friend to somebody in a time of crisis. It was great to see Ed looking better and still retaining his sense of humour. Lets hope he gets home safely and makes a full recovery.
May Ed have a speedy and painless recovery. Last time I saw him on his channel, maybe over a month ago, he was strolling the streets of Vietnam chatting about life there compared to other places
I spent 8 weeks in ICU in Bangkok Hospital and I had 24/7 nurses sat by my bed, it was 7 star luxury I told Ed to stay over there cos when he gets back here to the NHS he will be disgusted and prepare to be very depressed and expect zero attention except the Sodexo "food" delivery pressuring you to tic a box for their 40p meal that charge the NHS £5 per meal, after my ordeal I lost my leg due to faffing about wasting time, Oh I had a Lear jet from Koh Samuie,
@@hachimaru295 Staying at a mate's place Koh Phangan and got a spider bite, it set up something called Necratitis Faciitis a flesh-eating bacteria, it pretty much ate my foot away, I'm sure Bangkok would have saved the foot cos of wasted days coming back here and into the NHS,
Thanks for the update Nick, and you are a great support to Eddie. Fingers crossed he will fully recover and enjoy his retirement whether that be in England, Thailand or Cambodia.
Get well soon. Ed. Nick & Dan, you're good men. I'm impressed with P.O. Insurance. I've always avoided them in the past but will check it out next visit.
The PO aren't his insurer, they're a broker selling it on behalf of the actual insurance company. But it appears the policy Eddie has is a good one, not a twopenny-halfpenny job, which is great news.
He looks a bit better in himself today, glad blood pressure has come down to more normal level. Hopefully Ed has a speedy recovery 🙏 👍 get well soon buddy.
It's so nice to see you blokes looking out for one another. That alone earned a sub from me. Good luck, Eddy. Hopefully you'll get better soon and get back to SE Asia.
So good of you to support Ed, Nick...he needs friends like you. And everyone needs to see the importance of decent medical insurance. I needed mine in Bangkok last year...they came through for me. Hope Ed gets to fly next week...and you n Dan deserve a medal. Keep us all posted, please.
Thanks for the update Nick, this is what friendship is all about, god bless all of you. Get well soon Ed, but take your time with everything in recovery. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nick - have nothing but respect for you helping Eddie. So grateful to you and the rest if the guys for helping a friend in need. Everyone is hoping for good news over the next couple of weeks. Eddie glad that your so positive and wishing you a good recovery . God Bless you.
Have you had anymore dreams about men? We all know you're g@y, why don't you come out? And you just couldn't resist putting your superchat button back on could you? Get a job you absolute bum.
Well done Nick, Dan and everyone involved in going to see him..true friends. Would be a bit daunting sick in a foreign country and nobody you know coming to see you. All the best Ed hope for a full and speedy recovery 🙏
Glad eddy has some good friends there, been watching him for 12 months on his channel and was worried for him as it must be a lonely place when your ill. Top marks for helping out and all things considered I think he looks really well and sounds like something fixable so I'll look forward to catching up with him over there in the not too distant future. He'll be chasing those nurses round like benny Hill in no time. If you read this Ed all the best for a speedy recovery 👍🏻
Thanks a lot Nick for the latest news Re Eddy's health situation. I'm one of his RU-vid subscribers and I am from Malaysia. I pray for his speedy recovery. Nick, you and other friends are indeed a good friend/ community to Eddy. Cheers
Great video nick 👌🏻 hope Ed fully recovers soon 🤞🏻 definitely got to have good insurance, and so glad he did , amazing your been looking after him great stuff 👌🏻 stay safe ❤️💙
Thanks for the update on Eddy. All of his RU-vid fans can't be there, but it's so nice to see what a great friend he has with you Nick. For you and your cameraman Dan to take the time and help a friend in need shows us all what friends do. Keep us updated and thanks again.
Great work Nick & Dan helping Eddie, absolute legends! Pleased the insurance are paying out such a relief. Fingers crossed for a safe return to the the Uk. Great to see the updates very much appreciated. Best wishes to you all and speedy recovery for Eddie!
Well done Nick…. Top man! But don’t be afraid to knock some sense into Ed at the same time. No one needs to rely solely on booze on the daily, and the same applies to nutrition. No point in him recovering back in England, and jetting back to Asia to repeat the same process.
Oh great video to see Nick, I’m glad you did this I’ve been keeping my eye out for an update on Eddys health was really worried about him. Thanks again and get well soon Eddy 👍
I can see Ed writing book number 3 while he’s recovering back home. And I’m guessing the helicopter flight will get a mention in his book 🚁 Great job you guys for looking out for Ed 👏👏👏
Big love to you guys for reaching out and being there for Eddie! Very heartwarming to see. He’s such a great guy. And what you have done is amazing. I’ve been checking RU-vid everyday to see if had posted anything with any news since his last couple of videos. And it put a big smile on my face when I saw that you guys had intervened and stepped up to help this man out. It’s a beautiful thing. It gives me faith to know that there are still good people walking this planet. Such a great community spirit feeling. Get well soon Ed! 👍🏻💪🏻👊🏻🙏🏻❤️
