I was in the yard in Carlisle when this video was made & remember most of the people in it. Derek Jackson had it spot on when he described how Edward was, and yes he knew nearly 100% of the drivers who worked there at the time..Great to look back when this was made. The company is nothing like this now, which is a shame..
I was once so chuffed to get a job with them then the firm got way too big a started to treat there staff like shite,,,it really has fallen from grace since this was filmed sadly
yep bet Edward wud be turning in his grave. now its back being owned by the family so it is getting better but mr tinkler who made Stobart group has ruined the name. I still like the trucks and I collect the models but I think Malcolm Group are far better at business now
