Eddsworld Legacys Ending Was Disappointing 

Man can't believe it's been over 10 years since edd died

Regarding the switch in animation between part 1 and 2; Tomska is a notoriously terrible project manager and a number of cartoonists who he’s employed have spoken about him being late on payments and a pain to work with. I wouldn’t be surprised in the working relationship broke down between parts 1 and 2 though that’s speculatory and based on things said a decade ago I’m pulling out of the back of my mind.

this is such a minor thing but i was always bothered by how weirdly chill edd was about matt getting decked in the face? like that's your best friend and he didn't even do anything to warrant being hit yet he acted as if tord just sneezed on him

For more information actually, The idea of turning Tord into a Villain was (real) Edd's idea not just (real) Tom's, you can see it in WTFuture when future Tom mentions "red leader" that is supposed to be Tord and there's also an official design of the "red leader" by (real) Edd too.

This completely ruined Tord's character cause they should've kept it as a Special Squad and kept him as a hta addict, gun fanatic, & a bacon lover.📓🔫🥓

I wish they didn’t turn Tord into a villain. like, what was the point????? They turned him into a villain without a backstory or storyline. I mean Tord left RU-vid in 2016 (I think) he probably doesn’t know that eddsworld made him into a villain. I wish I can see why he created the Red army (like a backstory) and want to see his redemption arc. I doubt his original voice actor will return but if his character returns like his normal self I would be so happy! Tbh the way they brought him back into legacy made me feel like he became a Mary sue character lol (idk) but we need justice for Tord. He deserves better…. 😢☹️

I would like to think that tord isn’t out of character but everyone else is due to the fact all the stuff tord did is normal things that the boys did, like how tord punched Matt in the face that would’ve been considered funny back then, but now that the boys (except tord) have had development tord seem out of pocket for his actions.

I think the main problem with these episodes is that they're painfully unfunny, like they hurt to watch because of how bad the jokes are

That’s exactly why I got so mad I just felt like they just killed off toward I actually thought oh yeah towards back in the game and then they really just killed him off

My issue with Legacy is that it slowly became Tomsworld. I feel like Edd and Matt, especially in The End Part 1 & 2, were heavily swept aside. I get Tom is the director so of course it's going to be more in his favour but Edd's comedy/direction was good because of how bland it was. It was never a high end production, it was just Edd animating his friends. Tom's way of directing on the other hand introduced Family Guy/Simpsons-esque music, segues, as if it were a children's show on Netflix, and overall just not in the same spirit as Edd's tenure. I get that nobody can recreate what Edd did, but the production just seems... off, and tries too hard to be like a Saturday morning cartoon.
