Tekken spamming moves is just the go to offense nowadays like Alisa's unlimited chainsaw attack then Eddie's counter acrobatic moves. Pro players are just forced to use these moves or maybe the game has lost the competitiveness to what it used to be as reading your opponent's skills and making the adjustments...
@FreakiMuffin And that to me is the biggest problem with the game. I don't agree with the idea to make Heat chip you out. And to the degree of chip you take, it only makes sense to spam. I think that's bogus

Kotal was absolutely disgusting in the best of ways in that MK too 😂 juggle you in the air then grab ya and slam ya out the air or hack like a saw juggle combos; kotal was brutal. I need to look this up; sonicfox always so dang cocky I need to see him get humbled once 😂😂😂
Maybe he will next time. After game become balanced properly. Now it's very chaotic time. It was first Tekken game, that don't spend a year in only arcade/console version, so a lot of broken/stupid stuff still in. Hope with the time things get better.
Sick set. Tekken Master has faced Sonicfox in many big grand finals for MK. He's often times called one of the best in the Mortal Kombat scene, but he's rarely seen because of the region he's from. Just know that when he enters an MK tournament offline, he will almost always be in the finals fighting sonic or something.

I see. I also think about Feng and Drag, but last place in my mind can be taken by 7 different characters. Tekken 8 have a lot of broken stuff now, but last two patches give me a hope, that after year we might actually have a well balanced game.
I know TMM always thinks Alisa = bullsh*t but you gotta give credit to channel, a lot of good reads, amazing side steps and backdash into floats, smartests timings of rolls and waking up. Even though tekken master played a good match and it was really close, for me Channel totally earned his match
It was because of the bullshit design about realising him with beginner rank. High level players just pick him and destroy everyone up to red-purple ranks.
i agree with swe on most thongs but not his eddy take. eddy is really strong. it feels like eddy is in a permenant aop stance. you cant use any highs or even some mids on him. also his power crush is really strong and braindead.
Mk player of course chose 2d char without sidesteps. It couldve been a disgrace for Chanel if mk player had won he was close but sidesteping killed him mane.
As much as people B and whine about Eddy he's really not as good as people make him out to be. Don't get me wrong; he is quite good but S tier? Idk top of A tier for sure though. I still feel he isn't as powerful as some characters like Reina

Eddy is a strong character, but not broken. Annoying? For sure. If people don't know muchup. That the same thing pretty much for more than half of the roster. I personally think that Xiaoyu, Yoshi, Dragunov, Law and Lilli much more annoying then Eddy He's powercrush pretty good, but come on - it not win button. It slow high, that can be stepped in both sides.
Respect to tekkenmaster but we are NOT gonna sit here and act like eddy is all skill and not braindead. Yes you can step him but in t8 factoring camera man, float damage, weird angles, and his moves that for some reason still homing hes mad braindead. Character in some situation force you into 50/50 even factoring backdashing. Mainman is also literally ignoring all the side wall and side step interaction that are affecting chanel not just tekkenmaster. The bias is real. Man literally said alisa had the bullshit powercrush when the opponent eddy has a half screen safe non reactable high heat engager that combos in heat.
That’s the same with Alisa, and she’s been out longer than Eddy. Alisa forces you more in 50/50, especially with chainsaws. At least a lot of Eddy’s strings are easy to understand what you can duck and whiff punish, or sidestep. Alisa’s kit is fast and trackable, not a lot for the opponent to do. Half of her chainsaw moves are powercrushes so using them on her usually isn’t a viable option. There is bias, but not focused on Chanel, only Alisa, because she is a stupidly good character. And TekkenMaster picked up Eddy, a new DLC character, in an evo. Why wouldn’t you NOT focus on the new character?

Because eddy isn’t busted. Yeah he has that 3-3-3 bullshit but he is easily stepable and blockable. You just need patience against him and interrupt his stance.

Honestly, Eddy gives me hope that the DLC won’t be stupid broken. Yeah, Eddy has some stupid stuff. I don’t like that every breath he takes tracks, safe high heat Engagers are always the worst, & his auto-combo system is unnecessary, but they took the steps necessary to make sure he wasn’t a completely brain dead pay to win character.

No one is saying he’s weak. But he’s undebatably outside the top 5 and almost everyone agrees, outside the top 10. That makes him mid tier, which is what most pros agree on. Just compare Eddy vs Alisa in this match. The Eddy is CLEARLY having to work much harder for his damage in this match than the Alisa does. Nothing the Eddy is doing is cheap or easy, Tekkenmaster has to slowly condition Chanel the entire match to set up his mix and pressure. Meanwhile Chanel turns on chainsaws and then just forces Tekkenmaster to guess because unlike Eddy, Alisa doesn’t automatically just die if the opponent guesses right, they just block and Alisa continues pressure. Meanwhile one blocked low against Eddy leads to losing half his health which is why Eddy has to spend the entire round conditioning his opponents. Eddy is a 50/50 mix character, yes, but he’s a balanced 50/50 character with appropriate weaknesses (bad tracking kit and punishable after failed 50/50s) in a game where half the cast can do 50/50s at will without the weaknesses of Eddy.

I mean Lows like eddy’s deserve to be launched considering its speed and frames. Does he not have any decent poking tho? Can he only commit to minus 20 mids and lows? @@TeeRells711 I do play him he’s very negative a lot of his strings are mid high high so just duck an launch him at higher lvl tekken you have to work way harder then a lot of other characters but he his getting a minor buff so who knows but even the pros are saying he not good even for being a dlc he’s why more balanced the majority of cast

Bro is clearly not. During T7 he was giving flowers to Channel for sticking to his character of choice, despite not being as strong top tiers. Now that she is significantly buffed due to new mechanics, it is fine to call Alisa strong. MM never called out Channel, he only called out the character being significantly dumbed down (which is fair?)
