at least she’s one of the very few moms who doesn’t push their kids and respect their kids decision

I like how she knew she would be late but still sat down in the middle of the hallway with her daughter hugging her and asked "do you want to take off the dress and go home?" And that truly makes a good mom. Yes she still competes her daughter in beauty pageants but she gives her daughter a choice to say if she want to do it or not

SHOUTOUT TO EDEN'S MOM, she pushed her limits and then right when Eden needed her to she let her decide. It's gonna increase her tolerance for stressful situations and she knows her mama has her back

Im gonna get alot of hate on this comment but even though the mom is putting the child in pageants even if she doesnt want to, this mom doesn't seem as crazy and obsessed with everything as the others do, she's listening to her daughter when her daughter has a "meltdown"

This is the mark of a true professional. She was feeling all the stress and drama because the hair and makeup lady was freaking out and her mom was freaking out because the costumes weren't there and the hairpiece wasn't just so and it scared her. She had a little meltdown....Her mom gave her the choice whether to go onstage and rock it or take off the costume and go home.....Eden chose to shine onstage. And if memory serves....she won this pageant. All the other moms were pissed because they thought this pageant was rigged for Eden to win, but she has won pretty much every pageant she's been in.

As a kid who grew up doing pageants, both glitz & natural, this is NOT what it was like. I mean was there drama? Yes but the kids I knew and grew up around loved doing pageants and as did I, this is show is just the worst of the worst.

What a very strange thing is a pageant . The incredible stress , the wild emotions , the broken hearts . Just pop down to the lake/ocean with a picnic and a swimsuit with family and friends . It’s too soon to step onto life’s crazy treadmill for these little people .

For a crown? Money? Edit: her mom said it's all about her and for her. I'm pretty sure her daughter didn't ask to be put in a costume, have her hair pulled and damaged, makeup smudged into her face, itchy dresses, and being judged. It seems more like her _moms_ idea. "You have to pull yourself together" YOU pull yourself together. She's sick. She has brainwashed her so much, that the little girl wants to do big things BEFORE she turns 20, because after that, she's "too old" that sounds like her mom, and that's awful. Listen. Makes me wonder if Eden’ s mother is living her life through her daughter. Her reaction at the end, even interrupting her daughter on stage as she accepted the award, was tactless with no thought or regard for the feelings of the other children who lost or how their mothers were feeling. The mother has no decorum herself yet expects it from her daughter. I felt her approach with Eden was passive aggressive, she knew maternally that Eden would not back down from the pageant.

The little girl didn't have a meltdown because she didn't want to let her mama down... She is stressed out, feels trapped, and just wants to be a little kid! Why do parents do this to kids?? Seriously.

I haven't seen ALL the toddlers but this one is my favorite she didn't come out too bratty to me but the mama has got to call down and stop that excruciating yelling

The first pageant mom that I truly respect, she didn't make it about herself she cared about her child's feelings didn't force it on her gave her the choice to make a decision for herself and just wanted her kid to be happy she even considered about the hair dresser's feelings, a good mom and a good person .
