As someone who’s been knocked out like that, I can tell you it simply didn’t seem like I’d been knocked out or that anything had happened or that any time had passed. In the heat of the moment Ederson likely thought he got knocked over and was fine to play on. Trust me, when someone tells you you’ve been knocked out cold for any length of time, you don’t believe them because your body doesn’t recognise it’s happened.

He wanted to play because he probably didn't remember even being knocked out. When you're concussed you're confused. They never should have let him continue. It's not what's wrong with Ederson it's what's wrong with the medical staff who let him play on... smh.
