ONE HUNDRED AND TW I've been farming mission 8 with the OP mechs on the beach, but this looks even more efficient. Mission 9 is hectic if you haven't learned it, and I didn't think it would be good for farming. Now I know the pillar order for the final wave it looks pretty straightforward. Thanks!
I've found 8 to be my mission of choice so far just because of how early you can start farming it on any difficulty. As long as you can get to the beach, which is pretty easy for everyone except the air raider, you should be set. The 4 superpowered Nix are enough to complete the mission by themselves. Not quite as efficient as 9, but you can start farming it on inferno so much earlier.
Yeah 11 is slow, its a good farm, but definitely slow like you said. The Buster is a beast on here. Your right the rapier is a pain and you just have to get to dern close. Its a shredder, but good night your risking life and limb just to hit them with it. With the Air Raider I've had great success taking in the Tempest ATS (but mine is maxed damage at almost 500000), along with my turret of choice, and I believe the 105 gunship. I take in a fast moving Nix like the Red Guard or the new Nix that comes with DLC 2 that has the duel machine guns and grenade launcher. Its been a pretty effective setup for me on mission 11.
Kevin because of your videos magically popping up in my feed I once again am addicted to edf. I find myself sad becuase I stopped play after doing everything in edf 2025. so happy to be playing 5 till iron rain comes out
@@KevinEDF I have and always love the games. Edf 5 is not my favorite but god I love the voice acting. honestly I'm not far into it and I mainly play by myself even when online. I like the challenge

Seeing DLC farming strats is just another reminder of how little time I have. I never even finished Hard with a second class, much less get to Hardest, because so many other games have been coming out and eating up my time. ;__;
@@KevinEDF I mostly feel rushed because of Iron Rain, but I guess we still don't know what the end-game structure of that is going to look like yet or even if it will play as well as EDF5. I'm trying to stay hopeful, but also leaving room to be disappointed in case I'm wrong.
Sounds like a good way to go into the game, yeah, that is true, we will have less time on the mainline entry with iron rain. I personally would love to see an EDF game every year. Iron rain sequels and mainline rotating
No surprise for Fencers, the Dexter shotgun is king in mission 11. One is capable of stunning either monster after several shots. A pair will stunlock a giant. Emptying the first set and switching to your second set is enough to kill inside 20 seconds. ROF permitting. (max your ROF) I can finish in under 8 minutes without taking damage. Just keep shooting up close and the AI just breaks.
I'm having issues with the 6 pylons of spider w/ my Ranger, the buster doesn't have the distance so I can only get 2-3 before I have to switch weapons or run closer to get them and by then there are alot of spiders out already, any suggestions?
for mission 9 go ranger with a probe make getting items in water possible and eaiser farm for all pillar before they slowed the spawn number of enemys. also play online or with a freind if you can. get like 180 or higher every time like 20-30 min farm sadly though
Can someone please explain how you get the blazer or where and what difficulty I’ve been grinding this game but have gotten one and I want a big laser gun for my ranger
That gun is level 111 so it doesn't drop on early dlc 2 inferno levels. I don't know the exact mission it first appears but I know it is in mission 7 or higher
The best part about the ZAT is that its the end all be all for every pilon. Oh big pilon with golden ants, ZAT. kill both the golden ants and the pilon in one burst Tanky big pilon with Lots of brown spiders, ZAT kill all the brown bugs and the pilon in one burst wasp pilons? ZAT, kill the red one near instantly and kill the other pilon and the other wasps in 2 bursts. final stage? ZAT destroy them so fast that you can do your laundry before the spawning starts
@@KevinEDF Really the trick to it is throwing the speedstar at a wall or rock as you jump and landing on it. You are now the fastest character in the game. Stag beetles for the pylons and Suppress gun for the enemies.
Holy hell, I've been playing for a year, my buddy showed me EDF 4.1 and I've been hopelessly addicted since, so in all that time i HAD NO IDEA YOU COULD MAKE THE FEMCER SO DAMN MOBILE! That boost trick is amazing, it's really the reason why I can't go back to 4.1 and Iron Rain was just a massive disappointment to me in every way. I mean the heavy striker was cool but where are damn giant hammers? Where are my spears!?
@@WhenDevilsDuel sure, but you cant make the fencer nearly as mobile, and the wing diver doesn't look like a schoolgirl cosplaying a pig tailed gundam, though admittedly it isnt a whole lot better in 5.... traded out the tails and wacky looking jetpack for hotpants and a flight helmet, but it is still a slightly better look
I just recently took the journey from 4.1 to 5 with my daughter, 5 is way better in every way except for Ranger stealing most of my helicopters (I'm Air Raider, things go boom!)
What about Cannon DZ or something? That Artillery is sooooo goddamn overpowered! Also, maybe Neutralize Destruction Cannon (Gunship) might help because it can kill crowds quickly even hornets, tadpoles and drones can't dodge that, so Neutralize Destruction Cannon is probably best for large anchors and large enemies because it has like 20 shots so yeah that's quick damage, all ammo and all shots hits does over 140K damages (fully upgrades)
@@KevinEDF I know, if it isn't always successful then you could try use combos: Spritefall Maximum and Neutralize Destruction Cannon, maybe that'll help, oh yeah, I see you haven't uploaded video of AR on Inferno difficult on that mission, yet. I was thinking to try that out myself but I dont think I'll upload the video of it after I succeed it with Air Raider, because not a lot of EDF players can find my video, you have more subscribers tho
@@KevinEDF Hahaha, well I done with all classes on Inferno difficult with players, solo online with Air Raider seems impossible. I wish Air Raider have Mech shield or something so you wont take too much damage quickly, without it, gold ants and others would destroy it very quickly and if you can't get away from them on foot, you are screwed... I find spiders on inferno are more annoying than ants because spiders jump so far, spiders always jump on you, near behind you and start spray at you without notice them, jeez... spiders are kind of smart, almost impossible to outrun them if you play as Ranger or Air Raider on open map without city or mountain or something. Oh yeah what if Barga on small island? Lmao I wish they add shield for Mech or something for the next EDF game, oh yeah I was thinking of new knockback ability like shockwave and stun ability for Mech! Ohhhh that would be nice. Oh yeah Mech's Freeze Weapons! We haven't got freeze weapons from previous EDF games eh?
Jet cores can make a big difference in survivability , I also like low energy weapons when possible such as Lance. Geist is good for cosmos or colonists and mirage is good for wasps. Level 55 plasma cannon is also great for burst damage. You could also do the fly forever trick with the sky high core. I have a video under wingdiver playlist
Yes DLC 2 inferno mission 2 drops 82-107 level weapons and the later dlc 2 inferno missions drop level 90s -112. Every dlc 2 mission inferno can drop all dlc 1 weapons but if you are trying to farm a specific dlc 1 weapon, the drop range is smaller on dlc 1 and easier to Target a weapon.
I go to Walmart and flick my finger on the watermelon shell because I see people do this, and pretend to know how to pick the right one and check out lol
