All of that is on Siegfried's head. It's his mess, he must clean it up. And each and everytime he's force to fight those who want revenge on him think he's still nightmare or any bad guy like Darth Vader and he's trying to get rid of Sophitia's kids, his mind is wracked with guilt.
Heihachi, Link, Spawn, Vader, Yoda, Starkiller, Altair... Man, even though they're non-canon to the whole series, they're a great addition to the Soul Calibur roster.
The sould edge intro and song are special because we experienced them as kids, at a time when our hearts were pure, open, and easily touched. As adults we dont feel and believe as easily as we once did as kids because the world has closed off our hearts to some extent with the various life experiences and lessons we've been through, so the feeling we get from this intro is special because we cannot be genuinely impressed as easily as adults, so its kinda like the people who created this did something very nice for us by putting their heart and souls into this at a time when the artform of videogames wasnt even taken seriously by society, the feeling we get from the intro is rare to come by and im very thankful for it, big thanks to everyone involved in creating this art!
