The Omega has the ability to reset a 24 hour day. So, all the previous resets Cage had was from after the invasion. When Cage, Rita, and J-squad go after the Omega it's BEFORE the attack so the final reset is 24 hours from the point of it's destruction. That puts the time early morning of the previous day when Cage was just arriving to meet with the General. Cage was able to reset the final time due to getting covered in the blue blood a split second before the Omega is completely dead.

Also understand that any movie plot with timelines and time travel there are always plot holes. I would love to hear Marion try and wrap his head around the Terminator timeline holes.

I've been watching these reaction videos for a long time, you could say it has become my new obsession. But this video is by far the most wholesome and genuine reaction I have seen. It's also probably one of very few reactions where I actually wanted to stay and listen to the post credits commentary in it's entirety, which I enjoyed because it had substance. It was funny, intelligent and thought provoking. You two have a very special chemistry and your reactions don't appear forced or faked in any way. I just wanted to say I appreciate that, it's very refreshing to see.

Great that Joy is figured out that it was the aliens who were changing time. She is so smart. And as time loop movies go I think this one is definitely the best. It has elements in it that are appealing to both genders. And on that vein there are two other recent time loop movies I recommend that really focus in on one of those two elements. For the lover of action there is the 2020 Mel Gibson movie, BOSS LEVEL, which take the idea of being in a video game to the next level, the highest level. And then there is PALM SPRINGS which explores the romantic possibilities of a time loop by having it occur to not just one person but to two strangers. I think you would like them both.

The reason the general wanted Cage to fight is well known to anyone who has ever served. It's a betrayal of a kind to your brothers in arms to act as Cage did. Then he made it worse trying to blackmail his way out lol. Great reaction from both of you and I thank you for it. 😊

@@chaTzon Cool word? It is underrated amongst the people I know. If I ask around in my circle of friends or people I know, not so many people have seen it. This is better than Top Gun, Mission Impossible and other Cruise movies yet not that known or well regarded, so it is not rated as highly as it should, therefore underrated in my experience.

Oh man, I love this movie. Not really a Tom Cruise fan, but he really rocks in this movie. Hey, there something wrong with your suit. Yeah, there's a dead guy in it. I think the movie is very well done. However, I have an issue with one detail. He's a media personality and just got millions of people to join the war, yet nobody knows who he is. As for the ending, you have to think of it as a loop within a loop. The inner loop was 'On your feet maggot," which was undone when he had the blood transfusion. So, when he gets the Omega's blood on him he reverts to the outer loop. I don't know, that's just my interpretation of it. If you like time loops, ever consider watching "Time Machine" (2002).

You have to see Predestination, 2014, with Ethan Hawke. The time travel's epitome. I strongly suggest you to watch it.

I like the way the conversation gone into theory-land, especially where he could die of old age at 85 and reset to the first day they met. The one flaw in that is they can get rid of the reset effect with blood transfusion, sort of making sure these events remain the same and won't reset anymore. My theory as to why the victory went back in time is because the Omega sends its mind back in time when it dies. Except Tom Cruise blew up the grenades insides its /brain/. So first it got massive brain damage /and then/ it died, which means the copy of its mind that it sent back in time while it was dying was already ruined, and all it did was lobotomize itself in the past. Tom Cruise goes back because he's also soaked in the omega's blood, like he was soaked in the alpha's blood to start looping in the first place. Only since the omega is more powerful, he went back farther.

Great movie. You should watch other Time travel movies like The Butterfly Effect 2004 or Prince of Persia 2010. Also other great Tom Cruz movies like The Firm, A Few Good Man and Jack Reacher

There is already a script done for the sequel titled "Live, Die, Repeat, Repeat" which Emily Blunt said was really good but since Tom Cruise has been filming two Mission Impossible movies back to back, they haven't found time yet when both their schedules line up to do it. Fingers crossed that it will happen.

This movie is one of the most underrated EVER. I’m so glad it’s become a cult classic, it’s really gained a huge fanbase since it’s release just because of positive word-of-mouth and people recommending it to others. Keep the Tom Cruise movies coming, he has SOOO many great ones! Start with Minority Report, then watch Oblivion!

i can see why some wouldn't like it.. i personally dont believe in time travel.. i mean i dont believe in past or future to be honest.. they are concepts of our very minds.. past already happened.. future is not there yet.. only present is real but this movie has a very interesting view towards that. and i liked it!

@@MJoy4Fun I actually tend to be the same way, I don’t believe in time travel and often in movies when those concepts are used it keeps me from becoming fully invested. But this movie uses those concepts in smart ways and it just works so well. Glad that you enjoyed it :)

"Groundhog Day" on steroids. 😉 Here's some more food for thought.....you are correct the past and future do not exist, but neither does the present since it takes the brain hundredths of a second for the brain to receive the present which has now become the past. In other words, we don't exist. 😉

When he blew up the Omega, he killed the blue Alpha at the same time and it's blood was all over him so he got the ability to reset time again. That's why he woke up again but at a different time because he got the ability at a different also.

My interpretation of the end was that before, when he was covered in the Alpha's blood, he took control of the Omega's power, but the Omega could get control back. At the end when he was covered in the Omega's blood, he took the power itself, and supplanted the Omega in the timeline altogether.

Request: Would you please edit out when people take God’s Name in vain: For example: Oh my god God God-damn For the love of God For God’s sake Jesus Jesus Christ Christ Etc When people use that to show shock/surprise/anger instead of using other expletives like “s#it” - they are using God’s name in the place of excrement. It’s incredibly disrespectful to God. God told us not to do that in the 10 Commandments. I think if you honour God, God will honour you. He wakes up the day before. Since they invaded Paris and the Omega earlier in the evening before the regular morning attack, his day reset earlier when he arrived in London on the previous day. The end leaves things open. He could start the day over and over again until he gets the girl. Or decide NOT to die and let things progress with her

I'm kind of fed up with the scene of the Louvre assault. I mean, that's really over the top even for what the rest of the movie was doing before. Anyway, this is what people now like and think it's good cgi and action, so there we have it, the same crap cgi breaking ridiculously physics, biology and so on... ruining otherwise good ideas

50k next yr 🎉. I recommend 2 films; War of the worlds 1953 (Oscar Best Special effects) and 2003’s (Steven Spielberg)

The 1953 film is the definitive adaptation of the Wells' novel, though it doesn't really follow the novel. Setting it in America at that time was a brilliant idea. I like the Spielberg one that came out in 2016. But I hated the annoying brat kids who were clearly Democrats.
