Hey TMac Ever since i switched to Edge i have problems setting up modes. For Ex: I went to setuo Arm for my mobula 6 . All my controls work except the arm switch mode. It seems to work on my tx16s but not any functions on beta flight. In the receiver tab all controls work except the switch i have setup for arm. Any ideas? Thanks

@@johnlheneghan1630 John, I haven't taken the leap into Edge yet, but I read that in EdgeTX you must use channel 5 and Arm high. I have no idea why it would be different, but I've read this in several places.

Maybe it's time! I'm so dug in with OTX. I actually did the backup and made the Edge SD card a few months ago and decided to wait for the December update. I find that I don't do a lot of editing at the field, so the touch screen model selection is probably the main benefit for me in actual use. This is an awesome and thorough tutorial, has me eyeballing that outdated SD card again. 🍻🤣

i am using edge 2.6 but when i try to use edge buddy companion everything is right i have the stm32 and when i hit flash it downloads but it wont erase the SD card. im doing these because i have no themes ? i have tried a couple different ways even a blank sd card but it just wont erase . i already have the yaml on there seems like i'm missing a step . help please.... i can even see main themes on my sd card via transmitter screen but have no idea why they wont show up in the theme editor. im sure this is something simple im doing wrong

It has not been completely released yet, but he suggests checking it out on a non-production radio. I have one. When I download the firmware, which file would I copy it to?

@@TMacFPV Well that was painless. Goterdun today with no problem with this easy to follow guide. I also had no problem updating the Inav lua script and the gps widget and log. I do like the touch screen. It is a lot easier and faster when setting up the screens, even though I may not use it much in the field. By the way, I was watching a different video of yours today-I think the one about GPS logging, and I saw you had a UCF shirt on. Do you have any connections there? I graduated from there and still live in the area. Thanks again TMac.

Hi fantastic video, could I just ask if it’s possible to copy models from my taranis x9d plus special addition pre 2019 to my new radiomaster TX16s max, I tried it and it worked , had to change some of the settings as some functions are different on tx16

Nice video, thanks for the useful content. Just one observation about this video - it would have been nice to do the color and monochrome styles as separate streams. It got rather confusing at times trying to follow the steps as you were switching back and forth between the types through the steps.

I have edgetx now on my radio.. not sure what I did wrong. When I 1st switched over. All my switches I had set up were there...then they disappeared some how..not sure how I caused that.. now have to do all that all over again

Great Video! It's very practical and the "3 Steps to EdgeTX Success" are genial!! I wish I had discovered it earlier. I had a poor start with EdgeTX after I followed another RU-vid channel which had way too much information. Your video addresses the process in a very non nonsense mode. Nice Job! Q: Do you have more info on that "Edge Theme Creator"? For example: How do you install it? (I may have missed it)

Yes. I just switched all my transmitters to EdgeTX (you may have seen a few in the video?). I wouldn't have done that if I didn't think highly of EdgeTX

@@TMacFPV To be fair, your video shows converting a RadioMaster TX16S & TX12 from OpenTX to EdgeTX. It does not show how to move models from an Taranis Qx7 running OpenTX or EdgeTX to a RadioMaster TX16S running EdgeTX.

@WINGSHIGH Aviation If you haven't already found your answer, you might want to watch videos on moving your models and settings from your Qx7 to your TX16S while both are on OpenTX. Then use TMac's video to convert to EdgeTX.
