@DanGEREXX OBJECTION! The anime ships Narumitsu as much as it ships Narumayo, whether you like it or not. As for nintendo/capcom, they never implied any canon. The only canonical ship for Phoenix is Phoenix x Dahlia, since they dated. The fact part of the staff likes the ship doesn't make it canon
@DanGEREXX OBJECTION! Phoenix was studying art and literature even after he found out about Edgeworth. He only took the idea of studying law after Mia took him under her wing. Besides that, the game made it pretty clear Edgeworth felt conflicted about meeting Phoenix again due to his presence reminding him of his past. Where he believed to have murdered his father
