Probably more or less what would and possibly did happen. She cares about Wright, to a point. She'd even probably be a bit more gentle with her whip while he was in the hospital and might hold back during the post trial celebration. Probably ain't long past game 3 before Franziska whipping Phoenix is more a sign of affection than anything like it is with Gumshoe.

My headcanon is that she gave him that Maya's card (from 2-4) during her visit, which inspired Nick to not give up. Just like Maya always find a reason to keep going, then Nick has to as well!

Quick tip, when you have Phoenix talk while a femal character is on screen, make sure to change the blip noise to Male, otherwise Phoenix will have a high pitched voice whenever a woman is on screen 😅
