Thanks for staying with the analogue regulator. I *hate* electronic components of any kind on an air gun. I like simple components. Simple is reliable. This rifle looks awesome. You are right. It is what we all wanted as a kid. Cool factor is off the charts.
What a beautiful piece of machinery and art. I am so on the fence on this one, the current price of firearm ammunition and the lack of reloading components has almost pushed me over to the buy it side. I have been debating between the .177 and .22 to start with, I love that the barrels can be changed. Thank you to the producers of the video, great information!
Great overview Brian! Good things to know about the mag being in place and the fill port. This thing is an engineering masterpiece. Just incredible. And fun! I cannot wait to get mine.
Thanks Bryan for the call today. Super excited about getting my order. Let me and all of us know once the amazonesque feature is available and going live so I can edit and track my order. Thanks again! Awesome video and small request.. let's get some A2 grips on your site.
That trigger is a real bummer having to pull it fast. For the cost you would think that it would be better then that. I know some will like it and others will not. I would not mind buying one but I will wait until a second gen is released. That trigger in a no go for myself and I hope that will change in the future. Who knows, this being a proto maybe it already has. I will say that I am a big fan of Edgun airguns this way people dont think Im bashing them. My favorite airgun is the new Lelya in fact. Also have a gen 2 Leshiy that I shoot often. These two get more attention then any other airgun I own.
Thing is really slick engineering. I probably should sell a couple more of mine so I have some extra clams for the last half of the payment process. Happy Independence Day.
Ive been pondering changing the grip when mine arrives to a nice palm rest one from my ar parts bin, but the laminate looks pretty good from here so far and think I want to keep it that way
In the uk we are limited to 12ft pounds unless you have a firearm license. How easy would it be to alter the power to below 12ft pounds for the back garden or increase the power above 12ft pounds for fire arms certificate holders? Thanks.
Great video, Brian. The barrel could be indexed with a matching tab on breach which would also ensure the barrel is installed flat. I would be worried about losing or breaking the pellet retainer. Power adjustment is only via the regular then, right? I hope semi-auto is the new trend and that we will see lots of those going forward! I have come to really appreciate short, quiet and accurate airguns. Not sure if you did it on purpose, but you have a comma instead of a period after www in the description for your website.
Thanks, Allen fixed the link, The regulator is the simplest method, I think it makes sense to sell extra regulators so the customer could have a quick change option
@@edgunwestLLC Great ! We don't have to mess with regulators every time changing barrels. When we change barrels, we just simply change regulators. Thanks Brian ...
Seen the video's (the russian ones) as well . As far my opinion (but that is personal) it is an AWESOME invention, basta ! Not only the look but far more the specifications. Accurate, simple, robust, and seems verry quite as well. Done my PRE-order directly .Congrats to all involve in the developments of this gun.
I want this gun so bad but with the corona virus screwing our pay checks , it may be a while. Definitely on my wish list. For me the 350 mm is the chit! Amazing gun I would love to own. Do you have any idea when it will be finished and for sale?
I bought the single-shot leshiy a few years ago and bought some spare o-rings and such, but haven't needed anything that I couldn't repair myself. Awsome airgun. SO Ofcourse I'm intrigued with the eight-shot variant and just ordered it, r=fearing an embargo Russia to US. Politics gets in the way of sport, but i digress. It's on the way here. In a past life, I was a wood's-ball Paintball guy with an early obsession with the Auto-Cocker from WarGames, and was the first "kid" on my block to modify and diagnose problems with those airguns made for Paintball. I still have my original trigger-honed Auto-Cocker from the early90"s, and it's still great. Many offers on that lady, but she's a keeper. My thought was that a problem-solving series of videos would have been awesome then, with hot links to take you to the next e=series of testing to get to the root of issues. Wish I'd have done that myself, but so much changed with vendors manufacturing parts that functioned far more reliably than OEM parts without problems, but then there's edgun. Everything is well-engineered wihtout a need to replace a subsystem, but lacking a comprehensive "a to z" form of "if it's not this, then continue here" with "Hotlinks " to another subsystem. Just a thought, not a complaint. Just a thought that came from the slow learning experience I had where I became more popular for fixing that airgun and had less time enjoying it. WHEW thanks for reading thus far. I'm excited to learn more and become proficient with this fine product. My first leshiy is still great and I look forward to the new kid.
Hey Brian, that "conical bevel" at the breech end of the barrel, coincides with the "forcing cone" on revolvers. While you were spending quality time with ARs, I was deeply involved with 6 shot .357's, active duty Sheriff's Dept. Favorite was my custom tuned Ruger GP100 - loved that one. Also heavy into 1911 single action but those were banned from LEO use by the prosecutor as too easy to fire unintentionally. As for this JEWEL I call the "Lusty" cuz that's what I'm doing, I'll be saving my lunch money - we are taking a serious hit income wise due to "Rona" as well...
I signed up the email to be notified to purchase. I have a Morana .25 wood stock. Shoots strong. This gun here on the video has some really awesome features.
when u tighten a head to a cylinder block, you tighten the center most bolt, opposing working outward. so from center out working "star crossed" until you get to the furthest from center. i believe this is good practice with a pinch fit as it "cantilevers" the torque across the surface making pressure even, correct me if im wrong.
How much air are you putting in that air tube? Specs say 160-300. Are you keeping under the 300 range. I'm glad you brought up my next question if you add a air bottle later will the 30 degree or so on the grip get in the way to hold it correctly or if you have a big paw. Lol Very good review and Thank You.
It seems as though the reason you can't slowly pull the trigger is because the measured air is being bled off and is redirected to the magazine turn mechanism, thus causing shot to shot inconsistencies with a fast vs slow trigger pull. In other words, slow trigger pull= slower fps; fast trigger pull= faster fps. Is this accurate, Brian?
Not sure about anyone else but I would definitely buy extra stock/reservoirs for quick refills. The design makes it so easy to swap to a fresh tank if one were available. Sure you would pay more for the extra regulator and valve setup, but it would be worth it imo. Speaking of extras... will those larger capacity bottles be available on the site at some point as well? I saw one being used in another video. Would prefer to get one that best fits the space between stock and grip directly through you.
Why are the Magazins so expensive for 2 its 173£ 🤔 they are only made from a small amount of metal. I hope the price will go down, I probably will save money(12 month or so) to get one in the future, they are extremely nice guns.
wow, thanks for that, never knew you were NOT ED, as in the guy who builds these airguns!!, but if he does NOT do the videos, how do we contact him, can he do videos?, and is there a distributor of these in Australia?
Is it wise to have the barrel pointing at you whilst you fiddle with the air charging port in the stock! although thinking about it it can't fire as the air couldn't get into the breech if the stocks folded?
Hello. Can you put it in a Leshiy 2 Cal. 22 also the barrel of a 25 or 30 cal.? And if it's possible, would anything else have to be changed on the weapon? Many Thanks. Best regards
You mentioned that the gun can be tuned by adjusting the regulator and transfer port. Is 8 to 12 FPE in .22 a reasonable tune? I ask because in the video you mentioned the plenum dumps the full volume of air with each shot. The large plenum might make the low power less efficient than I'd otherwise expect. IFor example, I know on the Leshiy 1, the Huma low power kit has a very small plenum.
When I was 13 I dreamed about a lot of stuff mostly involving girls this is the kind of thing I dream about now this gun is amazing much over my budget but if I ever can get enough, I'm getting one
I like this gun a lot. I have 4 Hatsan semi Auto's including the full automatic Blitz. But, nothing like this have I seen before. I need this like I need a hole in the head. Somebody get the drill.
so i know this video is a bit old but can i order the gun with a different barrel than stock base gun....? the website has a tishina 200x600 kit. id totally buy the gun if it came in that arrangement at purchase
