Hey brother, great content. I live in a neighborhood in Commifornia that frowns upon this method of pest control. Whats an affordable and QUITE rifle and set up for dispatching pigeons? My rooftop is over run with them and i need to start reducing the population. Thanks!
This really compliments the gun. I use the Sekhmet in the buttstock, I prefer this because of the ease of charging via USB (no battery change needed) . . . I will surely get the MeaZy as a reg gauge.
I have the Edgun Meazy Gauge on my Leshiy 2 and and AirForce PCP but one of them keeps showing 3 stripes/dashes when "they wake up on shake". In the beginning the gauge showed the bottle pressure when I picket up the gun, but now it only shows 3 dashes. I have to unscrew the top and disconnect the battery for it to read the pressure again. Then it will work for a few times and the same thing occurs. I tried new batteries but thet doesn't fix the issue. You have any idea what this can be?
It reads pressure only. I don’t know how long the battery last I think it will depend on how much you play with it. I have had one on my personal gun for 6 months and we use them for the last 6 months every day to set regulators if that in any indication
You can say that again. I bougth an FX independence about a decade or so ago, it was non stop agony. Weak, flimsy, leaking from almost every joint but yes, it stacked pellet on pellet at 100 yards and that was really something for that time. I sold that one after a few months, now more then a decade later I gave FX another "chance" and nothing changed. Yes . . . pellet on pellet at 100 yads with my Meverick .22 But after 1 week the leaking started . . . after a few weeks, I managed to stop the leaking by replacing several o-rings. Then (to set both the regs) I had to take the bottle off. This resulted in a stripped bottle adapter. Nope, no cross threading or user error but a design error. They made the bottle adapter thread way to short and out of alloy, while the bottle threads are steel. Everyone knows alloy and steel under pressure don't mix. The cocking mechanism is "minimalistic" at best. The steel pin keeps falling out (thickest part down, again asking for trouble) When you add the slug power kit and spring, the cocking mechanism is just grinding and shows the weakness of the system. I had 4 leaks in 3 weeks due to dried out O-rings. Maybe the FX Impact and Panther are much better, but I think it would be wise for FX to stop innovating for a while and start upgrading the guns that are already out there. FX is the only brand that calls necessary improvements "upgrades" and the FX community seems to be okay with that. I have 2 Leshiy2's now and had only one leak problem at the gauge and that was my own fault. The L2 is build like a tank and maybe it doesn't stack pellet on pellet at 100 yards, but it surely hits where I want it to hit. If you want to punch paper at 200 yards, go FX. If you want to have fun . . . buy a L2 😁
@@jbhk7977 I love my Leshiy 2 funnest airgun I’ve ever own, no leaks in 8 months. With all that said I’ve struggle with accuracy the entire 8 months. I will NEVER SELL my Impact (phenomenal accuracy at all ranges) and now my Leshiy 2 ( best time one can have with an air rifle). Stop hating on FX. Something for everyone. People still talk trash about Edgun price, quality control, etc it comes with the business.
@@Ginuwine-kx2iv It's not hate my friend it's just pointing out the design flaws. FX is in a euforic state right now due to it's popularity. It almost feels like this success made them indifferent (imho) They should fix these things. We as airgunners are trusting these companies blindly, we litterally put our faces and hands on "little" bombs evertime we go out and shoot. If a bottle adapter strips under 250 bar, things can get very dangerous very fast. I injured my hand when this happened.
@JBHK there's always going to be lemons in every batch. I got my hands on my buddy's leshy classic that he was gifted, and it's by far one my favorite feeling and shooting guns. That being said, I do pest control in South florida. I got an impact mkii. I shot it around, showed my boss, and he got one as well. A year and a half later, we're a company of 9 and all of us, but one has an impact or a maverick, not one of then has malfucntioned unless it was due to human error, they all shoot flawlessly, and some of us shoot 100yds plus. Fx may have some Apple tactics, but their guns are amazing nonetheless.
Ok, only down side, taking that it is good to 1/10th of a bar, it only reads whole numbers. Other digital gauges on the market read in 10th. If the Meazy Gauge is set to 125 bar you have know idea of weather its 124.9 or 126.0 kinda of a big range for me anyway during my pellet testing. Food for thought.
