This will make the deck a bit more expensive, but this really calls for Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet. It's a sac outlet that makes it bigger and if you wipe the board you get them sweet zombies zombies
Yeah, that is scary, though I think I prefer Teysa with Apostles - Less of a non-interactive deck, where you actually play with your opponent, rather than at them, to put it in a way. The difference between a having a boxing match and suckerpunching someone from behind, repeatedly :P

I have a Tariel, Reckoner of Souls EDH deck that shares a very similar theme. One of the major differences is that I don't run exile removal; rather, I WANT things to go to the graveyard so that I can dig them out with Tariel or other Reanimate-style spells. How do I handle indestructible or hexproof fellows, you ask? With effects like Grave Pact, Butcher of Malakir, and Chaos Warp, of course! Red also gives me access to Kiki-Jiki, which is fantastic with Titans, Solemn Simulacrum, Disciple of Bolas, Mindclaw Shaman, Fleshbag Marauder/Merciless Executioner, and many of my opponents' guys that I'll be grabbing with Tariel. (Yes, Zealous Conscripts is in the deck, but I try not to seek out the infinite combo unless I'm about to lose.) I also run Ayli, but my other sac outlets are Goblin Bombardment, Blasting Station, and High Market. To top it all off, there's a small equipment package including Skullclamp, Lightning Greaves, Illusionist's Bracers, Blade of Selves, and Thornbite Staff, all of which can be tutored for via Stonehewer Giant. Equipping Tariel with a Thornbite Staff while you have a Bombardment or Blasting Station on the battlefield means your opponents better have empty bins. :) All in all, just about every choice in your deck got a smirk and a nod from me. Looks like a fun one to run, especially when the sacrifice engines get up and running.
You say you don’t have an infinite combo but fiend hunter and sun titan can give you infinite death triggers with a sac outlet like altar(mind you athreos gives your opponents a chance to stop the combo)
Idk if anyone's said it yet but running athreos you should try blood artist - gravecrawler- carrion feeder- phyrexian altar. It's abit much with four cards but it's easy to get to with tutor. Can be infinite combo
I like the foil orzhov basilica, I conveniently also have one. There are some essential cards you are missing though. Why not Attrition? Why not Reya dawnbringer? Why not Wispmare? Shreikmaw? etc etc. more utility creatures and ways to recur would be great. In my Athreos build it focuses on recursion of creatures that are just awful to deal with I.E. Iona and Avacyn. You have a good start but more sac outlets and ways to recur would be good. Blowing up the board is always fun but do you need so many? probably not.
I'm thinking about building a skeleton edh deck or undead rather Death theme. only thing is I'm not a fan of zombies haha. only card I have is Dance of the Dead. thinking of purchasing Lake of the Dead, and Necropotence I'm very picky but I have 30 or so cards on a list and about 4500 black cards to look at on TCG . I know Random but whatever.
sounds to me like they play in an arms race personal meta. Honestly the best advice i could possibly give anyone is jump over to the commanders quarters channel. He builds focused decks that you will never be humiliated to bring to any commander table for 25 dollars. Let these punks play with their karn liberateds, gilded drakes, and demonic tutors. This is not necessary and if you think it is, then you're lazy.
I don't think that is a legit win-con unless you're running some sort of ramp. Cabal coffers + Urborg for instance. Sure, it's a bomb late game in any deck, but not the one that you close out a game with.
not intended as a win-con it serves as a better version of a card he already has in the deck pay 2 w more and x gets doubled and it targets each opponent rather than one target still so good in single player great in multiplayer and your still gaining life off of it its to put yourself a steps ahead of your opponent(s) the one he has in there is double b and x but x doesn't get doubled so he could use dept to the deathless as something to add in to have more life gain or to replace exsanguinate
so I'm mildly confused, I'm making athreos for a cmndr deck and I'm wondering when it comes to his ability if it gives the opponent a choice in whether my creatures die or someone I pick takes 3 dmg. or if I'm simply able to pick and choose what dies myself. pls help, thanks
whenever a creature you own dies, you choose an opponent, than can either take 3 life to have it go in your graveyard or put the card back into your hand.
Instead of Day of Judgement, as it is a essentially a crappier Wrath of God, having black seems like Damnation would be good substitute. Then you have two full power Wraths!
if anyone wants to make Avacyn Worldslayer and break your locale play group. get yourself 16-20 of the best mana rocks, 36-40 land, just about every board while in white some of the best white staples heavy hitters Automatically ect and a foil Worldslayer seems to work best hAppy hunting. when I built it technically with an imposable 8 card hand u could drop avacyn turn 2 most of the time 3 or 4 Worldslayer 4 or 5 no answer and someone lacks a flyer u win
I will "like" any video with Orzhov tech in it, no matter what it seems like. I'm a little disappointed that this is basically just Athreos goodstuff, but then again, I run a Karlov goodstuff deck that has to slot out a lot of the staples for synergy, so I'll just shut up now

now I personally like to build theme type decks like skeletons my play group is no were near casual anymore witch is a bummer. I feel like it might be partly my fault when avacyn came out I built one hell of an avacyn edh two words Avacyn Worldslayer at one point I went 9_0 then my stor3 banned land destruction combos ect but last year they took the rule away. let's just say we don't pay 5$ buy in anymore we just play for fun it's too competitive turn 3_5 wins no fun haha have a good one.
also I don't mean to be a dink but I give u a 4 out of 10 I've built this deck with a bit more style 30 unhinged full art lands the lot of it. now I give the 4-10 based on my play group at my local store. they have some of the most unique one of a kind decks. we are talking g all types of infinite combos land wipes...infinite turns life u name it, things I would never play with insane stuff pimped to the max. you bring this to the table and drop a wrath it would be like poke in a 1000 lb grizzly. but this deck is better than a lot I have seen.
