Awesome upgrade! Noxious Ghoul is a pretty nice add :D those mini-kill-everything combos are so neat XD A card I like in those colors is Evil twin, it enters as a copy of anything anc can kill a creature with the same name. It's not a lot to do with the zombies, but just remembered I love the Innistrad ambience and it's the same color combination lol Have a great one, bro, great to see you, hope you're having a great week :)
Thanks man! Yeah I’m interested to see how the deck performs once I have a chance to get some games in. Love the zombie still border wipes as well, will Definitely side in some of those if I were to go up against a human centric edh deck for example. Cheers man! Hope your doing well!
I am building one as well. Haven't played but loving it. Couldn't afford necroduality so I got reflections of litjara. Added bunch of other Stuff, attrition, dictate of erebos, phyrexian reclamation
Enjoy my friend! Wilhelt is such a fun play, the drawing, graveyard recursion, removal, you can emphasize in so many directions. Nice adds too man! Cheers and be well!
Fully agree my friend! Based off some of the great feedback I’ve been getting, it seems there is quite a lot of changes that can be made to better optimize/theme fit the current build. Cheers and welcome to my channel!
You need some editing software. I respect your knowledge of the game and your approach to explaining how each card fits in. BUT, it's hard to watch a quarter hour video when it's hard to read the card and you stumble over your words (no offense). Im gonna subscribe because I think you deserve it. I hope to see higher quality deck-techs in the future. Good luck to your channel! Peace and love
Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback and I fully 100% agree, especially coming from someone who works in an IT related field, it’s on my radar and I hope to have some better quality vids soon! Thanks for subbing! I will work towards providing better content! Cheers!
Sounds good my friend, what would you recommend i interchange for the ramp? I am definitely going to make a revised version of the deck in a bit, need some more games though. Cheers and welcome to my channel!
@@closetmtg8029 bridge from below is very difficult to work in commander with creatures dying left and right. Intuition is a combo card probably the deck doesnt need it. Also maybe something from the top end of the curve. Low curve, card draw and ramp is the recipe to churn through the deck. have fun!
@@artemoila1 thanks so much for the feedback! This is exactly what I was looking for when putting the deck together. I understand what input together was a first pass, will definitely make some revisions to optimize the build. Cheers my friend!
@@closetmtg8029 I played this precon a lot and this is what I would 100% cut: Stitcher Geralf (expensive to play and activate, is not a zombie, usually has no impact on the board, not to mention you have to exile your own milled creature which you usually want to keep around for reanimation), havengul runebinder (expensive, not a zombie, pretty underwhelming effect, again exiles your dead zombos), undead alchemist is absolute dogshit, why mill an opponent when you can outright swing for lethal with a huge army?, curse of the relentless dead barely does anything from my experience. got it on board 3 games and barely made me 2 zombies IN TOTAL, endless ranks of the dead is SO slow and if you have a small board or none at all it's a dead card. Now you can add your ramp or include a reanimation package like I did. see you kept forgotten creation? Discard your whole hand and draw a new one, not to mention lots of other sacrifices going on, imagine some awesome reanimation plays with bladestitcher skaab and gray merchant. you should put him in asap by the way. Victimize is an amazing card for reanimation as well. last but not least put that zombie apocalypse back in there. Win con in so many of my games. Anyway I gotta say the upgrades are mouth watering, wish I had that much money to spend on those :'(
@@MaxSpider2000 dude thanks so much! this is amazing feedback! to be honest i have not had a ton of games yet with the Precon or the updated deck. What your saying about runebinder and alchemist makes perfect sense, and I agree endless ranks does seem slow. I did want to keep some cards in for flavor as my play group isn’t ultra competitive so a less powered done or less optimal version of the deck is okay by me. That said, I am definitely going to make some if not all of the changes that you recommended, a reanimation package sounds fun, especially with Gary. Cheers my friend and again thanks SOO much for the comments, feedback, recommendations!!
I personally added Phenax and alter of dementia to add a mill ending. Milled out a deck for 83, nice when opponents just draw lands turn after turn. Honestly felt a bit bad
Hmm, I never really thought of adding mill as a win con, that’s a sweet idea! Milled out for 83?! Lol that’s one way to make an enemy in your EDH playgroup. I definitely want to build a mill edh deck one of these days. Cheers my friend!
@@closetmtg8029 army of the damned paired with a zombie apocalypse and Phenax on the board. All zombies got +2/+2 making all of my tokens +4/+4 and the other zombies on the board got boosted as well. Tap em all down and that’s the game. Granted, I was so happy that there were no counter spells or boardwipes so all in all a very luck filled play.
@@flowdaflava6574 that’s awesome! I recently played army for the first time in an EDH game and it was so cool. I made sure I only had 13 zombie tokens on me so it was more fitting lol. Using them to mill and kill your opponents is on another level though lol. Cheers my friend!
@@closetmtg8029 I have two builds. The first one is pure tribal Zombies. It's a lot more fun but weaker than my second combo build haha! Probably my favorite tribe. I absolutely love the art styles and mechanics. There is so much Zombie support. My wallet hurts.
@@nelsikegaming that’s awesome, I too am a big fan of the zombie tribe. Fully agree that there is almost an endless pool of support options in which craft with. I can’t wait to get some game play in with my new build, hopefully over the holidays! Cheers my friend!
Reflections sounds fun…like you could do some crazy stuff with that card. Lol to be honest I didn’t even know that card existed, will definitely give it a look my friend! Cheers and welcome to my channel!
For me bud, it was all the non-zombie theme cards as I really wanted to emphasize the zombie theme. That said I think I may have made some poor decisions on the mana side. Let’s see though, I am working on an update video. Cheers and welcome bro
Psst. Don't tell anyone about this card for Wilhelt, I don't want players to play it against me. Sakashima's Will. Imagine turning all your creatures into Undead Warchiefs, all pumping eachother. It's a shame is doesn't trigger EBT's, or this would have been a blowout with Gary. Also, why are you not running Skullclamp? With the amount of saccing Wilhelt does drawing 3 for 1 c (1 from Wilhelt, 2 from clamp) is a rate that's hard to beat. Have you considered Lazotep Plating? 2 mana to give yourself and all your permanents hexproof, + you amass 1. and lastly, how goes the interaction between Bridge from Below and things like Butcher of Malakir, Dictate of Erebos, Grave Pact and so forth.Seems a bit like a nonbo.
Oh, have you thought about switching Open the Graves with Reflections of Littjara? Same CMC, but copies of your zombie lords compared to a few tokens here and there? Gave me much more value over a longer time!
Dude thanks again for the feedback! This deck has easily become favorite deck to run of late. I’m definitely going to consider all your suggestions to better optimize the build! Cheers man!
Hey man! Toxic deluge will definitely find a spot in v2.0 OR perhaps kindred, man I didn’t even know about that card until recently. Perfect on theme too! Thanks for the feedback, recommendations bro!! Welcome to my channel!
@@closetmtg8029 I sugest you Take ouț another card you barely use în the deck and run them both because of how powerfull they are and because they stack
@@baicunicholas3095 sounds good bud, I’m putting together an update vid that should be up tomorrow. I will Definitely mention grave pact (give you a shout out too) and that it going to have a slot in this deck. I don’t own any but will def be picking up one soon! Man thanks so much for the feedback and recommendations my friend!
10:20 Any tribal deck wants to run 25-30 creatures of the chosen tribe 25 is on the low side, but with zombies there are so many good artifacts, spells, and enchantments to include Its hard to choose
My friend it so tough! You know you would Think that by increasing the cards in your deck from 60 to 100 that you would be able to fit in all the cards you want. For me so often I get the deck down to like 110 cards and then those last 11 to pull out is soo tough lol! Lots of tweaking my friend but man I love that about magic. Endless outcomes! Thanks for the feedback and welcome to my channel!!!
